Fairly Odd Treasures CabOSil Fumed Silica Flotant 1Quart

As a rabid dry-fly fisherman, I have become addicted to dry fly floatant so I can keep my eye on my fly. At $9.00 for a tiny bottle of Frog's Fanny floatant, my addiction was threatening to bankrupt me. But with this stuff, I now have, virtually, a lifetime supply of dry fly desiccant for $20! And it works just as well as the expensive name-brand desiccant. I highly recommend this product for fly fishermen.

Lo uso principalmente per farmi la prosaide cream per le protesi per gli effetti speciali. Confezione un pochino troppo morbida e di plastica poco resistente. Tappo non richiudibile benissimo, perciò fate attenzione quando riponete il prodotto o lo aprite.E' cabosil, non respiratelo!

Have to say that I was a tad dubious as to this product reviving drowned dry flies, however, it's here, and after thoroughly drowning cdc flies in the kitchen sink, it has revived them perfectly. Equally as good as Frogs Fanny IMO.Would buy again with no worries

I thought this was going to be an inexpensive alternative to another branded fly floatant but I brushed it on my fly and it just sank. Doing a little digging on fumed silica, there's actually 2 types: Hydrophylic and Hydrophobic. This wasn't the hydrophobic version. Buyer beware!

Used this during the dry fly season ,does exactly what it's supposed to do ,will be buying more when this massive tubs runs out
