Can i reuse the hepa filter by washing or vaccuming it? Has anyone tried? Is there a way to open the filter and clean it?

I don't think so, a friend of mine tried hoover and wash but it didn't go on to blue when he put it back and had to be replaced with new. I would like to say that i am very pleased with it myself.

No. The sizes are different.I changed to the newer unit after I couldn't get the replacement filters at a reasonable price.
