I got this tape to mount a dry erase board to a gun safe. The gun safe is locatd right next to our small chest freezer. I use the dry erase board to keep an inventory of the freezer. I tried magnetic tape but the safe is texterized so the magnectic tape wouldn't hold. This tape help instantly. I am very happy with the hold. It is really firm on the safe wall.

I have used double stick tape for decades to mount all kinds of things. But the rolls I bought had way too little tape. I got this tape to mount Blink cameras outside the house and it works perfectly. I also use it to mount various other devices instead of using screws. Sometimes I use the tape to mount something and also use screws but the tape makes putting in the screws so much easier.

I needed a temperature resistance and permanent bonding foam tape. Although 'strong', it wasn't a needing a chisel to get it off strength that I needed and have experienced with other 3M tapes. Pressure against it made it start to peel away from the surface. A thicker foam might also improve the gap filling properties.Probably strong enough for most applications while spending way too much time trying to peel the red backing off the tape. I'm sure I'll find other uses for it.

I've used this stuff to attach body parts to the outside of cars without fail. This stuff is both ridiculously strong, but still easily removable with patience and a little elbow grease. Would recommend.
