The big advantage of these tips is the increased contact area. This is especially useful outdoors in sand, snow and loose footing in general.There's even a little shock absorption from the back of the foot coming down first and the flexibility is good. I've been using them full time for six months and the durability seems quite good. The only downside I have noticed is that because the foot is so wide it can get caught under an open door. The price is also quite good for a premium rubber tip. I'd like to see the Kmina make a similar tip with a less open space pattern and maybe a softer rubber for wet surface use. That would be very much appreciated by those of us that crutch full time and are deathly afraid of falling !

Very nice replacement from standard crutch feet. Provides a stable grip. Heavy duty rubber. Easily installed in seconds. Only thing I’ve encountered was the circumference of the new feet catching under a door I got a little close to. I just need to pay better attention! Recommend and would purchase again.

NO MORE WOBBLING, SLIPPING, OR FALLING. I've been on crutches for 2 months with at least 1 more month to go. I slipped a lot on the crutch tips that came with the crutches, so started looking and found these. They are EXCELLENT. The rubber moves like a foot when it hits the ground, it doesn't slide on tile or wet surfaces, and although I haven't tried it on grass, I'm sure it would be great. The most challenging (and frightening) stairs are no longer an issue for me. I wish I'd found them earlier but I'm really glad I have them now. Per manufacturers instructions I used a little water to get the feet on my crutches.

The first time I used the crutches the ER gave me on a marble floor, they slid and I fell. I noticed the tips were so small so I ordered these and I highly recommend them! Super easy to put on. They add so much stability to the crutches, I can’t imagine not using them and think they should be the default tips on all crutches. I’m now on one crutch until my foot totally heals and it works perfectly and makes me feel more steady.

Update 11/24: he has been using these tips more and likes them a little better. still the large footprint makes it easier for him to get caught on things and trip which is his biggest complaint, but he does feel stable using them most of the time and they have lasted quite a while (regular use in the last 3 months and no signs of breaking through. Great for hiking and slippery surfaces.I had high hopes for these tips for my husband who is an amputee and uses crutches to help him get around, but they have been more of a nuisance. they have caused him to trip more often due to the bigger foot print. He states they may work better for hiking and likes them a little better in the yard, but he does not for every day getting around. He catches them on things around the house especially when going around corners. He has used them for about a week and is looking to order different crutch tips currently. They do fit onto the end of crutches fine, which is an upside.

Works great for people who use crutches or a cane on soft or uneven ground. They act like off road tires for your crutches, improving grip and stability.

These are the best!!! They help.with stability and even helps grip the surface better. I am so clumsy on crutches and these helped so much!
