Stun darts are very durable and fly surprisingly well across shorter distances. They pack a punch and definitely stun whatever you are aiming for. In my personal use the stun darts shoot much better in shorter distance shots as the weight of them appear to affect the flight pattern exponentially more the further the target is.When shot at other people they can leave welts depending on how close the target is. Does not cause much more damage other than a stinging pain on first contact and the welt after contact.Happy with the product, would purchase again if I required more ammunition.

If you love knockin' targets then these blowguns and the Stun Darts to go with them will tattoo a grin across your face. I went to a thrift store and bought a 50 cent stuffed bear and set it up across the room for a target. It teaches hand/eye coordination and imagination rules as you sneak up on the critter from behind the sofa or around a corner for that quick aim and fire by the puffed up cheeks and a good huff down range. The kids absolutely love it too. We knock down cans, plastic cups, and anything else light enough and bold enough to stand against our fire power. The best part is that we can each choose our color for competition and use them over and over and over again. Really little kids have trouble blowing them out but time and practice rules. By the time they are ten there is no stuffed bear safe anywhere in the house. Uh, be cautious, however. It is a good idea to wear safety goggles and avoid shooting living or breakable things. My kids took out a pair of my glasses and they leave a good welt...not a good idea. You gotta use common sense. Also, the wife does not approve of broken light bulbs and things like that.

Kids love em. Good for just shooting cans or army men. They are usable indoors as long as you don't hit the wall. They pack enough force to dent drywall and maybe worse if shot by an experienced shooter or somebody with a set of lungs.

All the local sporting good stores don't sell just these, but instead those metal needle ones which I think is dangerous for 10 year olds. These are cheap and they work. Get a pack! I guarantee you will lose the ones that came with your blowgun.

I got these to “discourage” squirrels from visiting our bird feeders. The stun darts are accurate and durable, but they just aren’t heavy enough to bother a fat, feeding squirrel.
