Transformers Astrotrain G1 Reissue Triple Changer

Birthday present for my grandson and stunned by the size and quality of it, especially compared to the price. Box damaged but that seems to be a reoccurring theme in reviews. Definitely could’ve got a MUCH better present for his birthday money.

It was not properly packaged. The box came damaged. Corners on all sides were damaged. Not good for someone who collects.Should’ve been shipped in a box not a bubble bag.Could not give this as a gift. The toy was fine the box was damaged

This thing is small and very stiff, meaning there are not very many joints at all. It's so over-priced it feels almost criminal. My Son liked it but even he commented and said it's much smaller than he thought it would be. It sucks because I know he could have gotten one way better with his birthday money. The little dude loves transformers. But, he likes it enough to want to keep it so that means something to me.

If you like a pristine collector quality box look elsewhere. Like many others noted they deliver in an envelope so the box is super crushed and torn. If you are using it to play with or as an out of box display piece this toy is awesome in and of itself. The transformation is really straight forward and the alt mode is amazing. But the box quality really makes this overpriced.Put this box in a box! Add some bubble wrap!
