4.3 ohms total resistance, so it conducts more like 25 gauge.
I don't know the physical wire diameter, but what counts to me is the resistance. I measure 4.3 ohms total resistance of the whole thing, measured from one end with the other end shorted (so current goes down one leg and up the other.) I measured it still on the provided reel, so I have not unrolled it to check if the length is to spec. This is labelled as 20 meters of two conductor wire, so the resistance should match 40 m of one conductor. 22 gauge wire has 0.053 ohms/m, so 40 m would measure 2.1 ohms. This wire has the resistance you expect from 25 gauge pure copper wire. It's perfectly OK wire for the price; just be aware of that detail.

Great cable. Perfect for hobby craft and DIY.
This is some high quality cable. I bought it for wire extensions for some under cabinet lighting and some lipo battery connector extensions and a charging station I'm building and it looks, feels and performs very well. The silicone insulation is a great tactile add and allows a lot of flexibility in the wire while providing great electrical isolation.I would highly recommend this for any DIY or hobby project.Always remember to spec your cable gauge for amps, volts and temperature. If you dont know what I'm talking about do a little research before making whatever it is you are reading this review to make. Be safe.

Product appears to be conform to listing
Product looks OK. Haven’t tried soldering it yet, so behaviour is unknown. I counted 17 strands on each of the red and black wire, but I haven’t measured the cross-sectional area to determine whether this is proper 22 AWG cable. Cables/wires made in China are notoriou s for having incorrect specs, so it is common for seasonal lighting to be recalled by government authorities because the wires are not the proper gauge, do not dissipate heat properly, and may thereby become fire hazards; this is NOT NECESSARILY the case for this product, but always be suspicious of China-made cables/wires. I will use this product in low voltage applications and I will be adding inline fuses to ensure the cable doesn’t melt, so I am not worried. Unlike the picture on the listing, the product I received came on a spool, which I think is much better than having a loose roll that can get all tangled up.

Very very small wire commonly used for LEDs and low current draw applications period solid product
I like price point of oxygen free copper wire solders very easily......silver tinned so don't get the wrong idea if you look at the inner core the strands are silver but the inner core of each strand is oxygen free copper.. excellent seller happy with transaction

Good all purpose wire, very good for LED tape lighting
I used this wire for LED tape cabinet lighting. The gauge of the wire allows you to run the wire very discretely and in cracks and alike around cabinets. It worked well with connectors and some soldering. It is too light a gauge for a long run and may cause flickering. You can double up the run or use a heavier gauge for runs of 20-40 feet.
