The right dosage!!
Unless under a doctor's supervision, niacin with 250 and 500 milligrams is very dangerous and could cause liver damage. We should only be taking 14 to 25 milligrams daily. High doses are used to lower cholesterol but at what cost. These are very nice and for me cause no flushing..

SOY FREE, Stearate free, regular Niacin at a great price!
take ONE with a meal, 100 capsules Vitamin B3 (Niacin) ...........25 mg OTHER ingredients: Rice Flour, Gelatin Capsules SMALL (1/2 inch in length, 1/8th inch wide), EASY to swallow capsule! It was REALLY hard to find a LOW dose, REGULAR Niacin (NOT FLUSH FREE), that DOES NOT have magnesium stearates, soy, or dairy in it. So glad I found this one!!! I take this (with meals) with Perfect Rhodiola Rosea - Freeze Dried 100% Wild-crafted Siberian Rhodiola Rosea Root to help it absorb into my system, to increase energy, boost endurance and stamina, fight depression, reduce stress, and to improve mental clarity. Within a couple weeks I did notice a gentle, but effective difference. Overall, I'm quite pleased this! Niacin (vitamin B3) itself, aids many different metabolic processes in the body. Niacin plays a role in more than 500 reactions in the body. It works by providing energy on a cellular level and by maintaining cell health, which is essential for just about every process within the body> It has been found that niacin may lower cholesterol levels and prevent cholesterol from settling into the arteries and liver. Additionally, it prevents atherosclerosis, which is a condition that may prevent proper blood circulation. Eating healthy foods is not beneficial unless the nutrients are absorbed through the digestive system. Niacin aids in nutrient absorption so that you are getting the proteins, carbohydrates, and fats that are needed for optimal health. It should be noted, however, that HIGH doses of niacin have been found to potentially exacerbate digestive problems such as nausea and acid reflux. Taking niacin before bed with a light snack may prevent these digestive symptoms. Niacin deficiency is also associated with depression and overall mental impairment. Even a slight deficiency of niacin may cause physical and mental fatigue. Niacin works within the body to improve energy levels partly because it helps the body achieve optimal nutrient absorption Niacin reduces the cholesterol level in blood efficiently. Regular consumption of niacin helps to minimize the low-density lipoprotein or LDL triglyceride and cholesterol levels. This in turn, expedites the secretion of high-density lipoprotein or HDL level in the blood. Studies on niacin effects on body have proved that the regular intake of this vitamin is best for liver and the arteries. Niacin can raise HDL cholesterol by more than 30 percent. HDL, the "good" cholesterol, picks up excess bad cholesterol in your blood and takes it back to your liver for disposal. Niacin also helps the body make various sex and stress-related hormones in the adrenal glands and other parts of the body. Niacin helps improve circulation, and it has been shown to suppress inflammation. All the B vitamins are water-soluble, meaning that the body does not store them

I recommend
Very good supplement. A low dose so the niacin flush seldom occurs. I really like the fact it is Nicatinic acid and not niacinimide.

Tiny Capsules Are Easy To Swallow
Glad to have found this 25mg niacin capsule so I could work my way up in dosing. So far, I'm up to 150mg daily as part of a detox protocol I'm doing for a month. I've not experienced any 'flushing' (which I was expecting) but I'm going to continue upping my dose a bit each day. I love that this product doesn't have any junk ingredients included in it, though having worked up to higher doses now, I might need to get some 100 mg capsules next time. I do feel it was worth the approx $8 I paid for this bottle to be able to start at the lower end of dosing so my body could adjust. I always take with food and have not experienced any kind of stomach upset. Update: 175 mg has turned out to be my dose to cause flushing. Have been using this dose all week and will continue at this strength until there's no reaction before I increase it. My cleanse is planned for only 30 days total so I do not plan on staying at this level for an extended period of time beyond the one month.

Fast dissolving and latex free
This product dissolves in the mouth in about a minute with no aftertaste. Very effective and great value for the money. Added plus for anyone with a latex allergy is that this is latex-free: no side effects and no latex cross reactivity.

High quality, hard-to-find, low dose niacin
Arrived quickly. This is a high quality product. I have slow comt... I actually have 3 genetic mutations (instead of the more common 2) so I guess you can say I'm super slow. I overmethylate if I'm not careful to take the proper dose of folinic acid. This low dose of niacin is just enough to halt the process. I always keep a bottle on hand. It's impossible to find low dose niacin otc, even on Amazon, Dr Clarks is the only game in town.
