Blaviar | Ultra-Luxury Eau de Cologne After-Shave Balm, 5 fl oz / 150 mL (Epsilon)

I've been searching for a product for my post-shave dryness and redness for the past 8+ years. I finally settled on a combination of Neutrogena/Nivea which did away with most of the red and some of the dry effects. More recently a friend mentioned Blaviar to me and when I saw the cream's consistency in his hands, I knew I just had to try it. It's exceptionally rich and creamy and absorbs really well despite it being alcohol-free. Over the past few weeks, it has calmed my skin like no other product has ever before. It has a bunch of ingredients that you want on your skin like aloe vera, argan oil and macadamia nut and skips on everything that you wouldn't want like parabens, sulfates, phthalates and formaldehyde. But the most surprising thing for me about this product was actually its scent, which is on par with the most sophisticated designer fragrances out there. This is truly a hidden gem... I just keep getting compliments :)

Decent after shave lotion. The fragrance is pleasant. Only reason I give it 4-stars is b/c the bottle is a bit cumbersome to use. It's difficult to maneuver unscrewing the cap, placing some of the very viscous liquid lotion into one hand then trying to recap the bottle.I've ended up transferring from the bottle to a simple squeeze bottle which makes usage MUCH easier.

When the Star Pro Line guys came out with this I knew I had to try it. I'm a huge fan of their Star Wax pomades which are hands down the best scented pomades I have ever tried (and I've tried a ton). Not surprisingly, this cream is just as described: rich, soft, super-absorbent, and a true olfactory pleasure. I use it in the a.m. because kicking off a day with this perfume pretty much guarantees that it's going to be a great day.

This stuff is rather soothing, and doesn't smell bad. But it is so thin that it leaks out of the container without even touching it. Just open the lid, and out it pours. Can't even open it or use it without it making a huuuuuge mess. Pretty ridiculous. Buy something else.

Not gonna lie, not my cup of tea. The off-tint yellowish color was pretty unsettling to me (which is probably not a problem for most customers) and the smell was too strong for me. Normally when I get aftershave, I want to feel cool and clean. However, the texture of the aftershave kind of felt like it was sticking to my face and the feeling didn't disappear for a while. Also the bottle is really poorly designed since it is such a liquid-y texture. Being in a squeeze bottle is bad because the natural instinct is to turn it down and apply pressure to squeeze out whatever is inside. Since this is basically liquid, when you turn it down, it comes pouring out, and just the pressure from holding the bottle squirts out way more than intended.Those were some of the minor things that I noticed, the main point why I didn't like this (and this is purely opinion based) is the smell. I just couldn't get over how different it smelled versus other aftershaves I've used. I'm sure other people love the smell, but just be careful when buying fragrant substances like this online because you don't have the opportunity to smell it before you buy it!

I like this after shave but there are a few issues that could be better. The fragrance does not last very long.. There is not enough moisturizer in the product and the squeeze tube that it comes in makes a huge mess. The lotion comes out way too fast and the cap gets full of the lotion. I like the smell and it does make your face feel better after shaving. Definitely not the best product on the market but with a few improvements it could be a contender.

I especially like the non-greasy consistency of the balm. Very fresh scent leaves to smelling like a man! I like it!

My favorite aftershave lotion, won't use anything else from here on out. The tube will last a long time as you only need a small amount. I shave daily and haven't made a dent in it yet. The scent is subtle, yet noticeable and my wife loves it. Strongly recommend this product.I've never written a review before, and I was not reimbursed nor persuaded in any way to write this one.
