Pink Sleeve Silicone Skin Case for Nintendo Wii Fit

I wanted to get a cover for our family's Wii Fit Balance Board to keep it from getting scuffed up. This definitely does the trick, but is not the perfect solution I was hoping for.Pros:* Installation was easy and self-explanatory. There are little nubs on the underside that fit into the recessed screw holes to keep it in place.* The material seems durable enough to withstand abuse from kids' shoes and bumps and scratches from being stored and taken out regularly.* There is a cutout for the power button, and the battery plate is not covered at all, so there is no need to remove the cover during normal use. (Don't know about using it with step, push-up, or skateboard accessories, though...)Cons:* The biggest issue is that it seems slightly too big. I would've preferred a tighter fit on the Balance Board. The edges do not lay down completely flat, which has lead to my kids picking at them a bit. Also, the skin feels a little sloppy on the surface of the board. Twisting and turning tends to lead to the silicon being bunched up a little under/around your foot. I actually feel more secure on the bare board than with this attached.* The material is translucent, not opaque. This means any variations in thickness of the material make the white from the board show through more where the silicon is thinner (like around the corners). Not really a con, but it makes it look cheap to me.

This cover works really good in most instances.PROS: I love having this cover for anything involving foot work. I really like the grip I get for all foot based activities. I can use this cover barefoot, with socks or with sneakers. When I am barefoot and sock footed I feel like I have great traction which I don't have on the uncovered board. IT doesn't make too much of a difference to me when I have my sneakers on. I like the pink color too- it keeps the board from getting dirty and it also keeps my teenage son from playing with my Wii Fit board all the time since he hates pink. I found this easy to put on the board and easy to take off. It is also easy to wipe down if needed.CONS: Anything involving my hands on the Wii Fit board and I don't like the cover. If it's a quick exercise I will leave the cover on but for anything repetitive I take the cover off. The same ridges that give my feet traction hurt my hands (but not my feet). Maybe my hands are just sensitive. I can't seem to find a way to place them on the board without having some part of each hand on the textured part.

I am really glad I purchased this with the Wii balance board. I wasn't sure I would need it, but it was only $5 so why not. The first workout session I did not use it and found I had a little difficulty keeping my foot placement in the right areas (no shoes, just socks for the workout). I wasn't slipping off the board, just floating around the board because I wasn't looking at my feet, but at the tv screen.For my second workout I put on the skin. Still no shoes, just socks for the workout. It worked much better. There are little bumps or traction grips in the foot placement areas. I had an easy time feeling when I was floating off the boxes (the sensors) and could easily make the adjustments without having to look down.The skin slides easily onto the board and is held in place by snug plugs. They are not metal but the same material as the skin.Overall I am happy with the accessory and glad I splurged the extra $5.

The cover shipped is a smooth gel style cover. The picture shows impressions for your feet which would provide better grip. I wish vendors would match the correct picture with the actual item being sold!The cover does fit and was simple to put on the Wii Fit board. The gel 'nubs' on the bottom fit into the screw holes giving the impression that they will keep the cover from slipping. Time will tell! Given the inaccurate picture issue I will be returning this cover if it slips around during use. Any slipping is simply unsafe. But for under five dollars....well, we'll see.

Product coming from Hong Kong and was told it could take till 15 Jan to receive, bbut maybe 27 Dec. it was ordered on 01 Dec for a Christmas present to go with the Balance Board. If the product page stated it was being shipped from Hong Kong I would have not ordered it, I would have ordered one that would have been here in time for Christmas. Very deceiving product page and I'm pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been looking for a good silicone cover to protect my balance board, but didn't like the prices. When it arrive, the pink look lighter then the picture one and it is once you put it on. It still looks great though. Now when we play games, the foot pattern helps us grip better and know where our footing is which is great when you are all excited and trying to beat others! Of course, this is also helpful for the fitness games where you want to have a proper posture. Great buy!

I purchased this product for my daughter and she loves it. It was delivered on time and in perfect condition. I like how it fits on the Wii Fit Board, with the nubs and the holes for the legs. The feel of this when using the board is nice. The design of this pad helps when using the Board. I would highly recommend this to anyone who uses their Wii Fit Board at all.

I had been looking for a pink Wii cover for a long time, but I just couldn't justify spending twenty to thirty dollars on a piece of plastic. Then, I went to amazon (I should have looked here sooner) I found this awesome cover at a great price. The cover fits my Wii perfectly and I love the color. Side note: it does tend to attract a lot of pet hair, but is easily removed with a lint brush. Great product for a great price.
