Installed easily enough & has outlasted the original by quite a large margin of time

I have a Dyson v7 Cordless Stick Vacuum, which I love.Pros for this Battery- Outperforms the Dyson factory original battery at its peak.- Replacing the battery is MUCH cheaper than replacing the vacuum, and I'm glad I looked into it.- Replacement process was pretty easy, and only requires a small Phillips head screwdriver.Cons- honestly none so far, it's like giving me a new, better vacuum.Things to Know- There are three small Phillips head screws to hold the battery in place, one on the top middle of the handle, and two on either side of the bottom sides of the handle.I let the battery fully charge as suggested and put it to work. More than 45 minutes and the battery was still going strong. The orginal battery at best only lasted 20 minutes, and if I tried to use Max Suction, it dropped to 5 minutes at most. I'd usually have to recharge to finish cleaning. This new battery makes me question if I bought one that was already on the way out in the first place.I did buy my vacuum in August, 2019 and had to leave it plugged in, but not used for four months while I was away, so that likely sped up the original battery's decline. I installed this new battery and charged it Jan. 3, 2024, and gave the test run the next day.I vacuumed the carpet, ran the duster attachment over the furniture and baseboards, and finished off room edges and under furniture with the crevice tool, and the battery still had power. I ran it a few more minutes on Max Suction, because I didn't test that setting out yet, and it STILL had power. There's no way to tell how much charge is left, but I'm very satisfied so far.

This battery fit my Dyson V7 (HEPA) perfectly. It is of very high quality. The run times are similar to the original battery when it was new. This is the 2nd time I purchased a replacement battery for my Dyson V7 in about 8 years. It is simple to replace and so cost effective and good for the environment.

It lasted 2.5 years

This battery fit perfectly and has the vacuum working like new again. It charges quickly just like the original and works for a long time on a single charge. The price is a bargain and is well below the value I have received from the battery. Overall it was a great purchase! Excellent way to extend the life of your vacuum

I really liked my Dyson vacuum and was using it everyday. I was really disappointed when the battery went out after only a couple of years. I was going to purchase an original Dyson replacement battery but they were going for $100 at the time. I decided to take a chance on this one since it was less than half the cost. I’m so glad I did. This breathed new life into my Dyson. And I could just be imagining it but does seem like it has better suction now. I’ve been using it now for more than a year and it’s still going strong. I highly recommend this battery instead. You get more value for money out this battery compared to the OEM battery.

Purchased this to replace the battery on my Motorhead V7 Animal. We love our vacuum which we've had for several years. It was disappointing when the battery started losing its battery capacity about a year ago. I would take an hour or so to complete a full charge. The battery would die on Max suction in 24 seconds.I found this replacement, which had good reviews, and thought I should try it. Installation is easy if you have the right screw driver. Fortunately, I have an electronics related screw driver kit that has the smaller bits. You have to remove three screws to remove the battery. The replacement is a perfect match to the OEM battery and installs very easily with the same screws.After installation, I gave it a full charge. I then ran it on Max Suction and started a timer. After five minutes, I gave up and stopped the timer. I have no idea how much longer it could go. Going from 24 seconds to 5+ minutes was enough for me to know I made a good purchase. Not sure about battery charge over time. Will update review if it drops significantly in the near future.

Purchased April 2024, Died June 2025. was running great a week ago. Warranty 12 months. Almost seems like there is a kill switch somewhere. Still it did the job. Only getting 3 stars because the official Dyson battery lasted 2 1/2 years.
