Q: Can the band have links taken out?

I’m not sure but I have small wrists and this band runs small. I always have to have a couple links taken out but not with this one.

Q: Did anyone have trouble getting the back on after receiving? Arrived w/o the back on.

My came all together so I didn’t have that problem. I love my watch

Q: Would it fit a small wrist without making adjustments?

No. My wrist is 5 3/4" and the watch is loose. I either put the watch over the top of a sweater cuff, or wear it like a bangle. I get compliments when i wear it the later way.
