Modern Gold Floor Lamps for Living Room with 3 color temperature bulb

First thing I thought when I grabbed the box from the porch is “this thing has some weight. “ the seconds thing was that the box had been opened before. The tape going around the styrofoam packing had been disturbed and a bunch of th beads had been missy around the outer shell. The lamp was still wrapped in plastic. A few small cards fell to the ground. I figured they were warranty cards. The lamp went together very easily. And the shade wrapped around the round frame without any problem. The base was nice and heavy. This is a good looking simple lamp. One feature it has is the bulb changes color temp every time you turn the lamp on and off with the floor switch. This is done by the bulb. Not something in the lamp. The bulb cylxled from warm, natural, cool every time the lamp is turned off and back on. So if you like a warm light , you have to turn the lamp on/off a few times every time you want to use it. Just replace the bulb with the type you like and it will be the same every time you use it. As I said before. It is a good looking lamp and has a heavy base. The switch is on the cord so you need to step on it each time. I do wish the shade was a little bit taller so you don’t see the top of the light fixture and the label. Also the cord comes out of the post instead of the base so you can’t tuck or wrap excess cord in the base itself. This lamp works great with smart bulbs. Back to the small cards that fell out. They were for a tire store and a dentist appointment card in Weatherford Texas. Thought it was odd with these inside the the box.

I’ve bought 2 of these lamps for different rooms, really easy to install and have had zero issues with them! Super sleek & easy to assemble! They are not big so they can fit in small corners which is nice for saving space! They add a good amount of light to the room!

If you want the lamp exactly as described, it's a good lamp for the money. It looks good. It assembles very easily without tools. The foot switch and dimming work as described. All in all a good deal. Now my personal take. I knew I was going to have to modify this. I don't like the foot switch only. I got this to put next to my recliner. I have to have the damn foot switch out in the room, or have to get up and step behind my chair to use the switch. I wouldn't mind if there was also a switch on the lamp, so I could ignore the foot switch. But there isn't. It's not a standard lamp socket design (it does take standard bulbs) so I couldn't add a switch to the socket. The lamp tube is too small to add a switch to the tube (like torchiere lamps). So I decided to ad a remote dimmer switch. I bought this one: B0CKPFZ447, which I am very happy with. But then dimming is an issue. Whenever you plug 2 electronic dimmers into each other, they fight. You end up with an uncontrollable strobe light. I already knew this, so I cut out the switch in the cord and spliced the cord. Much to my surprise the dimmer circuit wasn't in the cord switch, it was in the LED bulb! So here's how it works: If you want to use an external dimmer or wall dimmer with this lamp, you have to replace the provided LED bulb with a standard dimmable bulb (LED, compact fluorescent, or incandescent). You don't need to modify the lamp. If you want to use an external or wall switch that doesn't dim, it will work. Flicking the switch off then on will change the dim level with the provided bulb. No dimming with a standard bulb. The provided bulb can be changed out to any standard bulb, but then won't be dimmable without an external dimmer switch. You could use up to 60 watts for incandescent, or much brighter for LED. LED bulbs will often say "Equivalent to 60 watts", but if you look at the packaging specs it will tell you the actual wattage, which is much less (about 9 watts) and is the only thing that matters. 60 watts LED is equivalent to about 400 watts incandescent. I like the lamp, I like the style, I wish it had a second switch on the lamp instead of the cord, but that was easily fixed.

I absolutely love this lamp! Where else could you find a lamp with a white pole? Our existing lamp was old and ugly. I wanted something that looked new and modern. Putting it together was a breeze and I am a very small woman. That being said the base was weighty enough to make it secure and unlikely to get knocked over. Others complained about the light bulb and the foot switch. I just put the supplied bulb in, plugged the lamp in to an existing plug that is operated by a wall switch on the other side of the room. So when I (we) enter the room, we can just turn it on and it gives just the right amount of light - not too dim or too bright for nighttime. Not everybody has a wall switch connected to a plug in, so I can’t address that issue. The price and quality was very good. We are quite satisfied - 5 stars!!

Awaited to write a review because I wanted to see if the bulb would last long and if the quality was good. I have now had it for over a year and it works great. It gives plenty of light and looks great in the house!

This floor lamp has a stylish design and provides good lighting with its three adjustable color temperatures. The foot switch is convenient, and assembly was straightforward. However, the biggest issue is the lampshade—it looks crooked no matter how I adjust it. I tried different ways to fix it, but I couldn’t get it to sit straight. I would have returned it except that the packing was very tight and I did not see how I could fit it all back in that box. Also, the shade isn’t adjustable, which limits flexibility. Overall, it’s a decent lamp for the price, but the crooked shade is a bit frustrating. I wish the finish was better quality for the overall craftsmanship.

Se siente muy bien! Esta a un excelente precio (comparando con lámparas similares en tiendas departamentales) y luce muy bien en mi sala. Me gusta que al moverla se siente muy robusta y no parece que se va a desarmar (como otros productos que se ensamblan de la misma forma). Muy contento con la compra.

Después de buscar por todo Amazon compré esta lámpara y la otra igual pero que es totalmente vertical hace como 10 meses o más y soy la más feliz; las uso absolutamente todas las noches y funcionan perfecto, se ven lindas y aparte son de buena calidad, no crean que están endebles, si están macizas y fuertes, si aguantan- las recomiendo
