SKS Chinese PLA 60-FJ-6C Metal Two Spout Oil Bottle Chinese for Rifle

I love the smell of cosmoline in the morning. This came covered in it but once cleaned up with my special recipe of remover this polished up quite nice. I didn't really need it once I got my SKS and discovered it could not be used in it's original state. I was wanting to have a functioning Type 56 SKS in it original condition including the oil bottle. Once I discovered the stock and wood furniture was not salvageable I didn't really need this. I tried to cancel at the last minute but was too late, it had already shipped. I decided to keep it anyway. It didn't cost that much and I will have one when I find another Chinese SKS that is in better shape. Exactly as described with both caps. I already had one that was missing the caps but this one cleaned up really nice and will be taken care of.

It came covered in grease inside and out. It took some serious work with boiling water to get it fit for use. However, once cleaned it was fine and serves it's purpose well.

I didn't know what to expect with this oil bottle, but it was exactly what I hoped for. It was as original and unmolested as you can get still heavily packed in cosmoline and paper. This is how I plan on keeping it with my cosmoline coated chinese milsurp rifle.

I bought this with the intent of storing two different liquids in it, I first needed to burn out the gunk that was in it, while these two bottles were in the fire along with some others of a different type that I purchased from the seller, these two literally fell apart, the solder melted and all that was left was the metal pieces, the other bottles turned out fine, it was a wood fire so excess heat should not have been an issue.
