We were remodeling out home. We wanted to replace the gas fireplace with electric to make it more sleek. Ordered RW Flame 60. Delivery was quick and it came well packaged. The unit is pretty light and easy to handle. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Our handyman installed it without any issues. The unit looks great. Really love the colors and realistic flame effect. The heat comes out of the front middle vent. Everyone that came complimented the fireplace. It comes with a remote to adjust the colors and heat.

This fireplace is a high quality item at a very good price. It was easy to install and fit the exact dimensions in the install guide. The flame and rocks are very aesthetically pleasing in our living room. The heater does well warming our smaller living room.

Looks great and operates well. You get the best bang for your buck considering the affordability of this model. The installation was straight forward for the most part. Only item of concern was the metal hinges on the glass facade that hook on to the fireplace post installation: I had to lightly bend one of them to align with the socket for a more accurate fit, but it was an easy fix and nothing worth docking a star for. The family loves the LED effects. I love that it heats up my basement quickly.

Great value for the price! I needed a narrow depth wall mount (not in the wall) fireplace and this one is perfect. It puts off a lot of heat, plus the options for how the flames and “coals” look are awesome. You can change the color and flicker speed of the flames, the color of the coals, and the brightness of both. And the heat has two levels besides off. Install was easy, although I used different anchors than were provided. And since this is for a 130-year old house, none of the lath and plaster studs are on modern measurements so the mounting bracket was a little limiting. But that’s a me problem, not a product problem. I really love this unit and bought a smaller size for my mom as a gift too.

I like the look of it with the crystals and colors plus it has heat. It does work like a space heater whereby there is a blower inside. It's relatively quiet and has 3 speeds. You can also have just the flame with crystals lit up or just the crystals on like a light. I put this in an already existing wood burning fireplace hole. You need to build some kind of frame to mount it on inside the hearth bc it mounts like a tv. My handy neighbor did it for me. I could have done it on my own, but I no longer have the tools. There are videos on youtube we used. It's not too hard to figure out. The remote is not great. It seemed to not work at all, but trick is you have to take not just the little plastic card out- you also must remove this super tiny screw to allow it to work. Luckily, I have an eyeglasses screwdriver that worked. The screw is that tiny. There is a time lag in pushing the button on the remote and having it respond no matter how close you are. You can operate it well with the buttons on the unit too. I do wish the online description and instructions did a better job of explaining how to mount inside an existing fireplace. I had to do all that research and planning on my own. Made it more difficult than it needed to be. I chose an electric fireplace bc I'm not chopping wood any more, living in town in CO where we often have "no burn" days and it was going to be cost prohibitive to run a gas line to retrofit from wood burning, so this was a good option. Fake fireplaces can be pricey, so it is great it's a cheap fix for me!

The fireplace arrived well-packaged and exactly as described. It works perfectly for our intended use and adds a beautiful touch to the room, creating just the right ambiance. Installation and hook- up were smooth and hassle-free. We’re very pleased with this purchase.

Love this fireplace, it provides good heat even on the lowest setting. It is attractive and loaded with features such as multiple flame color combinations and speeds as well as multiple timers from 1 to 8 hours. It is also dimmable and comes with a remote.

In February of 2023 I began framing and finishing out a large room over my garage which we had planned for when we had built our home. My wife found this electric fireplace on Amazon and we ordered it. It is the perfect addition to the space providing cozy aesthetics and actual warmth. While the room we installed it in is larger square footage wise than this electric heater is rated for it still provides noticeable heat and warmth to our room. The heater offers 2 settings you might consider a low and high setting although it isn’t labeled this way. The blower doesn’t blow heat at you in the room. Rather the heat escapes the fireplace noticeably about 2-3 feet away from its front or similar to what you might expect from any heater without a noisy blower as heat rises. Considering this fireplace heater is electric you’re not going to feel extreme heat from it like a traditional fireplace. It does however create a nice hot warmth you can definitely feel and may want to stand in front of when near it. Overall, I am very pleased with its heat output. While the room does have central air/heat this electric fireplace is a very nice supplemental heat source adding noticeable heat and therefore warmth to the room. I do find myself turning off this heater as it will bring the room temperature up noticeably warmer than my central heat’s thermostat setting. A little about the room and the functionality of the electric fireplace to help understand my use and why I recommend this electric fireplace heater. The room we purchased this electric fireplace for is above an unheated garage space but was a well planned insulated space. Therefore this electric heater is not my primary heat source but is a supplement heat source. As a supplemental heat source it performs much better than any expectation I had for it. The heater function makes very little noise when set to either setting and is silent when the heat function is set to off but the flame aesthetics are being used. You must use the flame aesthetic feature, which essentially is an “ON” setting to be able to use the heat function of this electric fireplace. As mentioned the unit even with the heat setting on it’s highest setting is very quiet in operation and you can easily hear a TV when listening at lower volume levels over the very quiet fan of the heat function. I have had no concerns of safe operation as this electric fireplace heater is securely mounted with screws and does not omit unsafe heat levels to the surrounding space where it is mounted. It can be mounted inset and therefore the front glass panel will be flush to any wall where there is a space void of wall studs behind the area or if you plan or modify the space to accept this style electric fireplace heater. You simply need a 120v wall plug near the unit for safe operation. For this heater I did run a separate electric circuit specifically for this wall plugin as to not overload the room’s circuit as this room is used as primary a media room with AV equipment. Space heaters do typically use most of the amperage rating for a circuit which likely includes multiple wall outlets in most houses so keep this in mind for safe operation and to keep from tripping circuit breakers or replacing fuses due to overloading a circuit. As a result of planning for safe operation I have had no concerns or issues with this electric fireplace heater. Aesthetically, this unit offers many options. All settings and options can be controlled from either the unit itself or the remote control. The remote’s range made be the most limiting factor. You need to be within 10’ or so for it to work well. That said, you can control the heat settings, change both the bed and flame bed colors as well as adjust the flame’s speed. Other features available are a dimmer for the brightness and an auto timer shutoff. While there are many color options for each none other than a couple really strike my fancy. I almost always leave my flame bed an almost natural gas blue and the flame a near realistic fiery orange. The speed of the flames also can be changed by several settings from a near slow motion flame, to a slow flame and so on to a more realistic fiery flame appearance. I prefer a more realistic look in appearance and speed on this unit which is not a bad look for a cozy appearance overall. I believe this electric wall fireplace is reasonably realistic however this is not accurately captured in my photo or video. It is a much better experience when seen in person and when set to an appropriate flame bed and a flame setting appearance. It is a nice addition to our space and its intended functionality of heat works well for us. When we purchased ours in February of 23’ at sale price $100 less than the list price it was still more expensive than today’s current pricing. If you are considering this electric fireplace and don’t have the advantage of comparing electric fireplaces in person; I believe this electric fireplace offers a good value for the money. I don’t feel it’s the best option for a primary heat source and perhaps not if the need for supplemental heat is an extreme necessity. However, if a combination of leisure and coziness is desired this electric fireplace is a good combination of appearance, functionality and price.
