Rubie's Elvis Child's Costume,White Large

My grandson was in between sizes. The small was a little too snug and the medium was way too big. The small is not as nice of a costume as the medium was. The medium had a lot more detail than the small. My grandson didn't care he just wanted to dress up as Elvis for Halloween.

Bought this costume in the kids size large for my 8-year-old son. Package sizing says it's recommended for size 8-10; my son wears an 8 so I'm glad I purchased this size for him and not a size smaller, as it is just slightly loose in the body. HOWEVER, the legs are ridiculously long; I had to pin at least 8" up inside the legs. (I'm sure someone with a sewing machine could cut the excess material off and hem the bottom, but I don't possess those skills.) I also chose to pin the scarf to the edge along the neckline, because it's narrow enough that with just normal movement the scarf shifted and didn't stay in place. Hint: Buy a package of safety pins to keep everything in place.The material is thin but not entirely see-through; my son will wear it with a white long-sleeved shirt underneath to keep him warm, but as long as he wears light underwear he won't need tights on his legs. As others have said, the pattern is iron-on and there are no jewels or sparkle; as long as you know this you won't be disappointed. Ours was wrinkled but clean. A decent value for the price - considering this costume is for a 2nd grade wax museum, it fit our needs just fine. I also purchased the accompanying Aloha cape by the same company; as a head's up that is sized as one-size-fits-all, but it's definitely kid-sized and would be small on an adult. It definitely completes the look, though.

Delivery was very fast. Material is light weight and comfortable but thin and a bit see through.I was disapointes to realize that this costume did not come with a wig, and learned that I need to pay closer attention to the description, and not rely on the photo (my own fault).Ended up having to spend an extra $20 on a wig to complete the costume.I most likely would not have purchased for that price had I realized it was just the jumpsuit... however my son loves Elvis, and was happy with the outfit - although he will be much happier when the wig arrives to really complete the costume.

Kinda pricey and really thin see thru material. My daughter had to wear a white romper underneath it because it’s so sheer. FYI Doesn’t come with glasses or wig.

My son loved his outfit decided he didn’t want the wig but the outfit was great bottoms were long but nothing that scissors can’t fix…… just make sure you put clothes under costume
