Worth my time and money
I loved reading this book , feels like talking to someone near. I like how the information is presented in a not overwhelming manner. I will use it as a guide as I begin my journey towards going solo.

Good Read - Valuables Insight
I decided to order this book about a week ago. I am still early in my career but have been blessed to have great experiences with clients thus far with pleasing results. I ordered this book because I want to take my career to the next level. It was a great read, I didn’t want to put it down, I took great notes, and got a lot out of reading it. Instead of feeling lost with no compass, it provided a general outline, a roadmap, a guiding structure to work from. I also appreciated how modern it was and incorporated how we can use technology and social media to our advantage. I truly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.

Great concept
As others have said, this is a good general guide for starting a law practice. It has lots of creative marketing, networking, and client generation ideas, but less information than I had hoped about the tech side of setting up a mobile practice. I got the paper version, so I can’t do a word search, but I don’t believe the word “laptop” actually appeared in the book at all. Being literal is an occupational hazard in the legal profession, but I was looking for more specifics about the kinds of hardware and software needed to operate a mobile office, what worked and what didn’t, what is cost effective and what’s not, etc. Still, it provided good ideas, ample food for thought, and great examples of creative problem solving and out of the box thinking. All in all, a worthwhile read.

Not as "mobile law practice" specific as I was looking for.
I was initially excited to find this book and immediately ordered it, as I am contemplating a mobile law practice. After reading it, I was disappointed in how little targeted advice was given specific to a mobile or virtual law office. Most of the book was general law firm start-up information. I have books on starting a law practice, I wanted one that gave me more information on a "successful MOBILE law practice" (emphasis added), as the subtitle stated. Maybe there isn't really that much of a difference between a mobile and an office bound practice, except in the overhead.

Absolute Essential Guide for Going Solo
"Law Office on a Laptop: How to Set Up Your Own Successful Mobile Law Practice is a truly comprehensive yet accessible guide to going solo. The new second edition adds valuable resources and considerations on social media and online presence that was absent from the first edition - which is more important and relevant now than it ever has been. Hodder and Sturmthal adequately prepare any lawyer or recent law school grad to gather the tools and build their own practice. This is a must read for anyone thinking of going solo or anyone who has recently taken the leap to go solo. Five stars."
