The lip around the top of the cup is thick and rough - you probably can't drink out of it without cutting your lip. The product was delivered quickly and was basically as described - but, since the inside of the ceramic cup wasn't smoothed down before being fired it's not safe to use. This is a manufactuing issue and not a seller issue as they probably won't check every cup to see if there was a product issue.
