The blind nails worked well. I would suggest first to make an impression of where the nails will make contact. Then pre-drill them to make the holes easier to make your attachment. You will do less hammering and less Iikely to cause inadvertent damage.

Worked perfect for hanging baseboards so you won't have holes to patch after. I ordered smaller size first which did not reach the studs, so I ordered this size and it worked perfect. Highly recommend.

As others have mentioned, while the idea of this is great, the manufacturer has neglected to provide any kind of quality control of the components. I attempted to try a practice run of nailing one of the nails into a piece of wood and could not get the tool to seat on the nail because there was a flange of extra metal around the top of the nail that needed to be filed down before I could get the driver tool to seat properly. Every single nail I tried had the same issue. Was finally able to file down the extra metal and get a few of the nails to work, but, really? If you need to use these for any large project, good luck - I would look elsewhere.

I needed to extend the top of a 4x4 fence post so a solar light could be mounted on top. This was the solution. The set tool worked great for mounting the nails and I just taped the 4x4 extension into place.

This is one of the best products I’ve used. I don’t know why it’s not more popular. Used it twice since I received it. Once to adjoin a broken piece of wood on my bed frame. And another to hang a headboard to the wall. Perfect for both applications.

The punch that came with the nails is strong and effective for starting the nails into one side of your project. This works perfectly for my needs - I am so glad I stumbled upon this.
