When it was delivered it was stiff not hard it had a good bit of soft squish like a cushion but over the month I’ve had it (it was delivered September 8, it’s now September 30) it steadily got softer and softer and more squishy. I use it every day several times a day sometimes for long periods. I’m not a big person (5’4 138) just for reference purposes. It’s now at the point of being very much a beanbag chair but still had a back. Sitting in it is like sitting in a nest. So incredibly comfortable especially with the back that feels supportive but soft enough for a nice lounge sesh. I love it. My only complaint is that can be difficult to get out of especially if you have limitations or a disability. My I have weakness in my legs and an extremely bad balance and there has been some times I seriously struggled to get out. Mostly of the time even though I have limitations I can out of it easily. As it gets squishier it does get closer to the ground so keep that in mind too. But OH MY GOSH THE COMFORT!!!! It’s amazing. The topic ideas for the review mention Fuffect. I’m not exactly sure what that means but it’s a cool word and I would say the chair has fluffect is meaning fluffy. It gets fluffy. Over time you will need to grab the little (fabric) handle on the back top to shake it a bit into place/shape before you sit down if you don’t do it when you get up. I always just give it a little shake before sitting. The color is amazing. Just like the picture above. Nice and vibrant but so not overwhelming. Just a fun vibe and added charm. Living in the southwest desert it has gotten dirty pretty fast but it’s been holding up great with our monsoon rains so it is very weather friendly and dries so very quickly. The chair will actually resist be rain and I have gone out and seen a little puddle in the seat which you can just shake off and sit down with minimal wetness. The quality is fantastic!! This chair is worth every single penny. You might thing with a company like Big Joe you’re buying the name but it’s not the name, it’s the quality of their products that make them so popular and special. I will be buying another chair for my (16yo) son for his room - the gray dorm chair he likes. If you’re considering, buy it. No regrets will be made.

I just got this adorable small bean bag chair for my students, and I’m honestly in love with it! It’s the perfect size — cozy, comfy, and made just for kids. Exactly what I was looking for. This chair is a perfect size for my toddler and most importantly, the quality is excellent. Very happy with this purchase.

Easily my worst experience on Amazon so far. ✓ Had to wait for a week for this product to arrive! ✓ After a week of waiting, I received a lousy bean bag that was only half filled. If you are planning on buying this product, make sure you have bean bag refills at home or get ready to spend extra money on bean bag refills! ✓ The bottom zipper was broken. Couldn't even get to open it! ✓ Stitches were already stretched out. Material looked wrinkled. Had a feeling that it has been used before. ✓ The filling is definitely not bean bag beads. Rather it was filled with low quality styrofoam beads. This makes the bean bag light weight (= easy to ship) but at the same time, sinks to the ground when you try to sit on it. Also, this kind of arrangement gives you lower back pain. ✓ Last but not least: This item came in a Big Joe box that was shipped from a Walmart warehouse AND had a Walmart invoice. And guess what? I found this same thing for $15 cheaper at my nearest Walmart store. I feel super duped. My review: Please don't waste your money on such a disappointing product! And please don't get duped like me by some shady third party seller. Update: Regarding my return ✓ Returning this item wasn't at all easy. Some third party sellers are extremely rude and unprofessional. I had to deal with a particularly unhelpful seller (Estate 19 is the name! Looks like now that particular seller is selling this product for $20 more than it's actual price). Finally, I had to file a claim and get Amazon involved in this! ✓ My biggest concern was getting the bean bag inside my car. I had to do all that on my own; since no home pickup was provided by the seller or Amazon! ✓ Finally, 10 days after I personally dropped the package at a FedEx center, I got a refund! Better item to consider: Sofa Sac's 3' memory foam bean bag is an Amazing product. I bought that after getting the refund for this item. At $60 (which is only $10-15 more than the average Amazon price of this Big Joe Milano Bean bag chair), the Sofa Sac's 3' Memory foam bean bag provides a lot of foamy comfort. It is of a far superior quality and is perfect for apartments, dorms and small spaces but at the same time, huge and comfortable enough for a 25 year old petite adult like myself to take naps on!
