This winter catfishing season I'm planning to use all stainless steel. That includes hooks, swivels, and snap clips. This week I bought the Billfisher SSS1/O Krok Stainless Steel Fishing Swivels, which I will try out in November. The Amazon prices including shipping rival brass swivels when strength and endurance is considered. I was pleased when the stainless swivels arrived on time using free shipping. I was also happy with the quality of the swivels. I've often wondered about how much longer lasting they would be in the brackish water. I won't be able to comment about this until next Spring, when the winter catfishing period ends. So far so good as I begin to put all my fishing gear together.

Great swivels with a power rating of 600 lbs (not listed in the description). Will purchase again when I use the 50 I purchased.

I use these on catfish juglines in 1/0 with #9 and #18 tarred twine. Bait still gets wrapped up sometimes, but I think that's a leader problem. Haven't had one fail yet.
