I bought this as a gift to my niece, who is obsessed with animals right now. After reading a book about an anteater, she was really curious about how it looks and she wanted it to be realistic. And this definitely fulfilled that. It is realistic and very detailed. The color is spot on and the size is perfect for her to play around with. It's not rock hard, it's just the right firmness and it's very durable. I think it's good value for money considering how realistic this is.

I purchased this for my grandson who loves collecting replicas of animals he has seen at the zoo. This company makes very authentic looking replicas that I highly recommend for anyone who is interested in this hobby!

Schleich animals are very life-like reproductions. We get copies of animals we have seen on our trips. So far none have disappointed. Just recently purchased a jaguar, tapir, toto toucan and an anaconda.
