This little device is a game-changer for insect bites! I was skeptical at first, but it really works—just a few seconds of heat and the itching stops almost instantly. It does hurt a little bit, but it's a heck of a lot better than having to scratch all day. It’s small, easy to use, and perfectly little enough to keep in a bag for hikes or summer trips. No more scratching or swelling. Totally worth it if mosquitoes love you as much as they love me!

We were heading back to Antigua for two weeks and I'm sure the mosquitos were planning a welcome back party. They loved me last year! In the past, I used an old trick I had learned a decade or two ago about using the back of a spoon immersed in boiling water to sooth bug bits. It works well but isn't practical. Before heading out on our trip I decided to see if there was a device that could work in the same way and, lo and behold, came across this gem. Very easy to use with two timer settings, 3 seconds and 6 seconds. We always used 6 seconds and you can definitely feel it. The first few seconds feel great and the last couple seconds can seem long depending on the sensitivity of the area, but it was never unbearable. The end of the device has a small ceramic disk that is heated by two AA batteries. In 80% of the cases after a bite, one application of the device was all that was needed to eliminate the itch. In some cases, we would use it 2-4 times though we couldn't figure out a pattern as to why 10-20% of the bites needed more than one application. Being perfectly honest, this device removed the only negative aspect of visiting the island. I can't recommend it enough! It will be a standard item to pack on all our trips.

This product is amazing! I get covered in mosquito bites every summer, so I keep this in my pocketbook now&it's ready in just a few seconds. I've used it on brand new bites (which it DOES work better on), but I've used it on day old bites, as well&it still surprisingly works to alleviate the itch&welping. I have only used it on mosquito bites atm. I also have a teen I have used it on&it works good for her too. But I have to use it in particular places with my 4 yr old..there definitely is a burning/stingy feeling when using this device, so I only use it for half the time of the sensitive skin setting&only on the not-so-tender areas on her body. She knows it will make it not itch..so she doesn't cry or anything when it's applied, the sting isn't that bad...its just uncomfortable. I do believe, hands down, that the stinging/burning feel of using this device is so much better than the downside of itching constantly, welped up places that are hot to the touch& possibly get infected..this device has erased all of those issues for my household now. Would recommend to all families, but not use on any children under the age of 3 in my opinion. Value for the money was totally worth it!! It's made very well, not cheap made@all. Seems to be made like a $60+device. No smell when using. Check your pkg thoroughly when you open it@first. The batteries ARE included, they're just hidden in the box it comes in.

I was a bit skeptical when my wife asked me to buy this device and after reading hit and miss reviews, I thought maybe it's a lot of money for what it is. Having said that, I took the plunge and bought it anyway.I picked the device up and just so happened I got eaten alive while I was walking back. No time like the present to see if it worked. Initial impressions were that it stings like a B** I don't think i will use this on my 3year old as I nearly brought a grown man to shed a tear. But it did however stop the itching for a while. Then when it started to ich again I got it out and zapped again to take the ich away again.The good things are that it's lightweight to put in your toiletry bag or carry on bag and it does work. My wife also tried on her bites and it worked for her too.Bad side is that you only get 2 settings but both apply the same heat just one setting is longer than the other. This means I wouldn't trust using on my son, not because I think it would cause damage but because I'm pretty sure he'd scream the place down and remember the device for next time and wouldn't let me use it on him. I'll stick with the creams for him. But for adults I recommend.
