The POE5002 appears to offer the functionality you require. But note, at the switch/router end you either need a PoE switch or PoE injector. If your camera is PoE, you also need to check how much power this device passes onwards to the camera. Also, have you checked your cabling and all connections? If you have a patch cable, try swapping it out. I have been using the POE5003 (which is a splitter not extender) very successfully for over 12 months.

No, the correct connection should be, the input connect to PoE Switch or PoE NVR to receive PoE power, the 2 output connect 2 camera, then the camera will work you can use your recoder to connect the camera, it will show image on the monitor.
