Well made part
Fantastic part. I made a 3/8-16 attachment for a custom remade cutoff of a signature tool I make for work with carbon fiber, burdseye maple, and african blackwood as the handle. It's a thing of beauty with this at the business end. The bottom surface is flat and nicely ground to an smooth machined finish. My only complaint is that the top side is fairly roughly machined as if the cutting tool was dull or running at the wrong feed rate or something. It's smooth to the touch and shouldn't cause cleaning issues, but it just drops it from a 5 star appearance. I confess I'm splitting hairs, but I expect most coffee geeks tend to do that. Seriously, don't hesitate to pick this if you're making an espresso tamper from scratch.
