Q: This might be a silly question, but has anyone used this as a Top coat ado I need to buff my nails b4 applying?

I used it as a top coat and it worked pretty well. It stayed on for a few days without chipping. I would. It kind of stained my nails when I used blacks or red.

Q: How long does it take to dry

approximately 2 minutes....depends on how thick or thin you apply it.

Lol I easily fit the role of a kitchen worker. You know the drill - I am unwittingly responsible for 95% washing dirty dishes and having my hands get wet doing meal prep. And who takes the time to put gloves on before putting their hands in water? Not me and this is why I'm so freaked out about ORLY Bonder! My hands get wet a lot. Too much and I've found that my manicures aren't effected at all when I use this as my base coat. I can add to my original review and say that now that I've been using this for about a month now, I've found that my polish will not chip at all! That's such an added bonus too because now I won't pick off all my polish at the sign of the first chip and even if you try, it will not chip!! Note that I've found that polish and base coat are a bit harder to remove and I whole heartedly accept this and it's well worth a little extra time for the outstanding performance of ORLY Bonder base coat. Also note that I am not being paid - yet - for my reviews!

Q: Does it work good if used before an acrylic?

Idk about acrylic but it gets tacky so nail polish adheres to it. I wont paint my nails without it. I believe the stuff they put on nails before acrylic dries them. So I couldn't speak accurately to that
