Improved oil pressure
Great filter! I have an 07 Tahoe with the 5.3 flex fuel engine. It has over 220,000 miles on original engine. I have better oil pressure at all temperatures. My oil consumption is half. I used to be a mechanic and I have no idea why an oil filter would cut the oil consumption. But my oil consumption is 2,000 miles per quart. I previously used the AC Delco filter. 3,000 miles after oil change my oil consumption was 1,000 miles per quart. I will keep buying these filters. I use Pennzoil Platinum 0w20 with Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer. The reduced oil consumption offsets the added filter cost
