The "beeswax" mostly came off in soapy water, and the rings were left rough and began to absorb water. Some got dark spots within a couple of days.

Perfect product.. I have bought these and the ones that aren't finished with the bees wax.. Both are great.. I use them to make teethers for my friends babies. Perfect size and babies love them.. Plus they are safe.
