Male Halfmoon Betta - Assorted Color - Live Aquarium Tropical Fish…

First -- the color I requested (yellow, not common) was selected for me and I couldn't be happier. SpongeBob NoPants fits his home perfectly.I was VERY worried with shipping. It shipped out Monday evening and wasn't scheduled for delivery until Friday. It arrived on Thursday, which was great, but still concerned me. It was packaged in a fairly small bag, that bag was wrapped inside a bubble-wrap envelope, and the whole thing was in a small USPS box. I did not expect the fish to be in good shape when I opened the box and saw the packaging.But, I was wrong. The fish seemed fine. I floated his bag for about 30 minutes, and released him into my tank. After about 2 hours, I dropped some food in, and he hungrily ate. He's been very healthy.I was going to deduct a star because the packaging seemed inadequate compared to Glofish I ordered from another company online. (That came with large, highly-oxygenated bags, inside styrofoam packaging, and overnight-shipped) But since the fish arrived healthy and happy after 4 days in transit, perhaps the Glofish packaging was overkill. Or, maybe I just got lucky. Still, my fish is quite happy, quite healthy, and very beautiful.

So, our Wal-Mart stopped supplying those little cups of bettas a year ago, and I've really been wanting a new betta without the hassle of driving 45 minutes to a Petsmart and getting the third degree about my tank size and particular qualifications of owning a fish, etc.... So I did a thing I thought was pretty dumb and ordered one off the internet 🙃 😅 it said my order was due to be delivered within 10 to 15 days. I mean, what could go wrong?Today I recieved my package that I noticed the nice delivery lady handling pretty roughly. I didn't have the heart to tell her that a possibly living fish was in there. I took it and breathlessly opened it in the house, with an audience of my two sons, whom I kept assuring not to get too excited; it was probably a box with a dead fish in it.Low and behold, the box contained some fluffy lint-like substance-and... a bag with a living fish! Clifford, as I dubbed him, was red and a little pale in the body. Once acclimated and released into my 1 gallon fish bowl (don't judge me, there's a heater and soon to be filter pump soon, it's a cozy apartment instead of a mansion) he began to darken and his colors became more vivid. He's very active and though he didn't eat the tiny pebble of betta food I dropped in, I suspect he'll eat soon once he's done being traumatized from living in a dark black box for 10 days.All in all, five star experience!

Arrived in a box the size of a bumblebees buttcheek we set up the tank accordingly and let everything, fish and tank, acclimate. He died 2 days later waste of money not worth it at all

I love my pet Betta fish. I think they are very relaxing to look at and yes I do what I can for my fish. I know its just a fish but it is alive. Therefore, i wonder if the USPS mail delivery carriers know how important a package can be. I was making dinner when I heard a sound coming from outside. It sounded like something fell. I had the door slightly open, yet the gated door was locked. I stopped what I was doing to go take a look. I was shocked. On the floor was a small box that contained my Betta Fish. Poor thing he was just slammed to the ground by the delivery person I cannot imagine what he went through just to get to me. I was more surprised on the inside of the package. My fish had so little water. He is a halfmoon Betta. Beautiful fan tail fins. Well he was in so little water his fins were bent like they got a permanent crease. I started crying. He was swimming sideways and i thought he wouldn't make it through the night. I saw him this morning and he was swimming a little better. Long story short, I will NEVER order a live fish online. I will go handpick at the store. It is not worth it for the fish. It is really sad. I wish the box had some label like CAUTION LIVE FISH in bright color so he would not have been slammed on the ground and who knows what else he went through. Shame on those careless mail carriers.

I like my new betta. I’ve had a dozen over the years. I used to buy the ugliest beat up ones at wal mart when they were still selling and terribly mistreating their fish before they quit selling them locally.Somehow I was under the impression by paying $15 for shipping he would have arrived in a couple days. After the 3rd and 4th day went by I was really bummed for him. That’s a long time to be shaken around and in total darkness, no matter how well packaged. (He was very well packaged)His color came back quickly, a very nice indigo blue, no damage to the fins. He really likes the 20 gallon tank, and he has around 10 shrimp buddies, he leaves them alone only going in for a closer look once in a while. Aside from the long shipping time, he looks like he was well bred and taken care of. Honestly I would not buy another one on the internet.For those whining about the color and being disappointed in their fish, climb in a box, have someone tape it closed, put you in a truck bed and have your buddy go off roading for five days. Then we can all look how healthy and happy you look.

I wanted to surprise a family member with a new friend, and the team at SevenSeaSupply was AMAZING. We struggled with hot summer temperatures and mailing address issues, but they were diligent, patient, and kind, and made my surprise a success! The half-moon betta delivered was of amazing quality and color and looked incredibly healthy. I cannot recommend my friends at SevenSeaSupply more!

Was not sure what to expect from this purchase but wanted to see the quality of these fish and their shipping. I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase. The shipping and packaging was quick and well put together. The water quantity in the bags was a little short for the size of these fish but everyone made it. The fish were a little stressed but once they made it to fresh water and settled for a few hours they were vibrant and healthy! Both bettas I received were beautiful. I will definitely purchase again fo see how the process goes a second time and for the surprise of what beautiful fish I’ll receive.
