I wanted this piece to be bigger than the one with griffin babies so I was disappointed how smaller it is in comparison. Oh well it still adds to the family theme. I knew it would be too dark and I didn't like the finishing on it. The grey finishing makes it look cheap, so I add some gold rub n'buff to lighten it up and it's a million times better and so much more magical!

I think it's a wonderful piece. I just wish it was a lighter color but I'm sure that is out of the control of the manufacturer.

It is much bigger then I anticipated, it is not to scale for Dungeon and Dragons miniature. But definitely a keeper.
