Would trust the tube. Mine also says 3.4 oz- and I am not "authority" on this.

Q: Why do you list silica benefits as essential for strong teeth, etc., when the reason it's in here is to be abrasive? what is the rda score?

I have no idea. I love this toothpaste & well worth the cost.

There is only a natural sweet herb extract called Stevia that gives the paste a pleasant but not overbearing sweetness that mingles with the mandarin flavors perfectly.
