Everyone who likes ikebana. Will like this book!
Great book. Not only does it give great examples.....it provides a list of what you need and step by step instructions. This book was highly recommended by our garden club and I was able to thumb thru the book before ordering it....and then I also ordered another as a gift for a friend. It lists easy to find flowers and greenery for use in arrangements and gives step by step instructions with photographs. There are photographs on every one of the 100 pages in the book relating to either the construction of the arrangement or the completed project. Also great new ideas.

Great book!
This book is great! Unlike many other books on flower arranging that give you only pretty photographs of the finished arrangements with some description, Keiko's newest book provides very concise yet VERY detailed instructions on how to make every arrangement. What I like the most about the book is that Keiko teaches you how to make ikebana-style arrangements using basic Western supplies (floral foam, wooden picks, etc.)You won't have to spend tons of $$$$ on kenzans, special vases, and other expensive equipment. I will be looking forward to buying more of Keiko's books on flower arranging!

Simple, clear step by step photos
I own several Ikebana books. I like to look at them for design inspiration. It is always fascinating to see what you can put together when you have an interesting container and just a few floral materials or branches. This book is 93 pages and paperback, not hardcover. It has simple to follow ideas and instructions. It does not get into Ikebana history/philosophy/different schools/etc. It is appropriately titled Ikebana STYLE-as many of the designs are using floral foam. But the designs are beautiful and straightforward with a photo of the completed design, a photo of all materials required, and and step by step photos of how to put it together. I liked learning the techniques used for leaf manipulation, branch bundling, wiring Iris leaves....etc.
