Coldest ice pack I have ever tried
I have the 5lb, 2.5lb and the .75lb. They aren’t cheap price wise but they freeze down colder than anything else I have ever tried. Using them in my Yeti cooler and prechilling with dry ice they lasted for 5 days and I had to break the ice off of the Arctic Ice at the end of the weekend. The side with the Artic ice was still frozen but my other side of the cooler had melted. When using the .75lb in our soft sided Yeti we have to put cardboard between the packs and some goods to keep them from freezing. Picture is of ice on day 3. This is more ice retention than when I used dry ice (solid co2) to super chill my cooler full of ice. Some reviews are complaining of poor results. When I use the artic ice in a cooler bag they don’t work as well as when in full contact with ice for long duration. So poor results are due to poor execution not due to poor performance of the ice pack.

Fail!
Oddly I read alot of the reviews to see if this was worth the price...Maybe I got a dud, who knows but based on the good reviews I had it in freezer a week before my trip.Packed cooler with frozen or refrigerated items, drove 3 hrs and it was already starting to unthaw...Put in my friends freezer for the night, along with frozen items, repacked the next morning and added a bag of ice....At campsite by noon the next day, was thawed and ice melting...Not impressed for the price! My only saving grace was it was cool at night and not terribly hot during the day!Garbage in my mind or.......maybe a fluke I got a defective one?????

You need to insure your freezer is cold enough to properly freeze these. 36 hours to freeze.
Camping in British Columbia this summer with temps at 35 Degrees Celsius. Used two of these in a Cabellas, high end cooler, the ones that look like another high end cooler, and it kept water bottles completely frozen for 6 days.It would likely have been longer but I needed the water. I used the good cooler for long term and the cheaper one for day to day use and moved stuff from one cooler to the other as needed.

WORKS AMAZINGLY!
I bought and used these in the summer and I Must say They worked! almost too well LOL We used two in our coleman extreme 5 66L ( 70 quart) cooler plus ice on our camping trip. well everything froze , the ice cubes turned into a solid block of ice we had to chisel our containers out lol and they lasted the entire 4 days even when they were liquid the cooler was still cold as they melt they absorb warm air in the cooler and give of cold air so it stays cold in there. it's not supposed to remain solid or it wouldn't be working. great product! I will buy more and use 2 in my freezer cooler and 1 in my fridge cooler so we don't have to bring ice picks lol

Extremely disappointed with performance
Given the marketing and grades of cooling this company indicates for the various products I am extremely disappointed with the performance of this product! The product DOES NOT keep things chilled as expected in my thermal case. ODDLY, it turned out to be no more effective than ICE! At least with ICE I could replace at a gas station. Freezing the unit takes an extremely long time and given the amount of time it just does not last as one would expect!
