Most of these brushes are great and only a few are flimsy and the hair of the brush easily falls out. Though I purchased it while on sale, I believe it's a good buy so you can familiarize yourself with different brushes and the different styles they can give you while painting (I myself do acrylic painting). Then after you can start to invest in higher quality brushes and you'll know which types you want because you've practiced. Also, having them in their own holder is a huge plus.

I actually haven't had the opportunity to use the brushes yet but I LOVE the roll storage! This is the best way to keep your supplies protected while not taking up too much space. The only thing I haven't figured out yet is why the velcro is so high up, there's quite a bit of extra fabric at the head of my roll. I assume it's in case you have longer brushes that need more head space but maybe additional velcro tabs could be included so the height is adjustable. This small issue does not impact my satisfaction at all.

Got these brushes to do some stone painting and multi-media projects. They showed up quickly even with the free shipping, no rush status. I like them a lot although the bristles came out of a couple of them on the first day. I like the wide variety and roll up pack to organize them in. I use them often and they are holding up well.

My 11 year old daughter ordered these and she LOVES them! She is just getting started trying out new mediums in art, so I can't give an expert opinion. Every day after school, she can't wait to go to her art table and try out something new with her new brushes. :) Thank you for giving us a cost effective way to get lots of variety!

Very nice brush set for painting, especially the brushes for acrylic painting which are good for watercolor painting as well. The canvas carrier is also nice for storage.
