Easy
Excellent product! Exactly what it promises, took me 11minutes to install it with the video. Water and seat are warm, works perfectly. I’m very impressed and did not think it would be such a great purchase. I wish I knew about it years ago. I can’t imagine investing in the entire toilet system when this lid really is all you need. I purchased it as it was recommended for post op back surgery, so glad I found this.

Easy installation, worth the money.
Packaged arrived next day as scheduled thru prime. Package included all necessary parts to install. (T valve for water, and adjustable bracket and screws to install). GFCI was already available, so no need for electrician. Removed the original seat and followed the directions. Tools needed were a tape measure and a Philips screw driver to tighten the seat to the toilet. They supplied the rubber bushings with nuts attached that easily pushed into the holes on the toilet. They give a starting dimension of where to put the adjustable mounting plate. I installed per that dimension and had to move it one notch so that the front of the seat lined up with the front of the toilet. Turned off the water to the toilet tank and drained it by holding the flush lever down before removing the fill line. Installed the tee valve and rehooked the main line and the line to the seat. Turned the water back on and plugged it in. After reading the directions and watching an online video for the remote, I turned it all on and tested all the functions. ( use a cup or can to catch the water from the wand to keep from getting water on the floor.) The seat heater works great and comforting. When it is time to wash, the water starts out warm, but cools off towards the end of the cycle. The heated dryer works good. I had zero leaks, and the seat is sturdy and does not move. The top lid cannot be sat on due to the electronics involved and may crack and due damage. I have only had it for a week and so far so good. Money well spent.

Easy to install GAME CHANGER!
Excellent quality, super clean and hygienic. There is NO reason to use tons of toilet paper or not be clean down there! Heated seat, heated water, adjustable placement of the spray and adjustable pressure settings. Memory settings for two people. I’ve used them both on an elongated toilet bowl at my son’s house and on a standard size bowl at mine. I was worried that the standard size bowl size might feel small, but no worries. The technology is really superior. The dryer setting does not really dry you enough quickly as a woman , so I just use toilet paper to dry. It is quiet and sturdy.

Don't knock it till you try it.
Just came back from visiting Japan and of course had to get one of these. We bought the C5. The Toto website's compare feature doesn't list the differences (duh?), so I didn't know what the higher units offered. The K300 has no water reservoir (has immediate and unlimited heating - great feature). The one above that has auto seat up/down also. This unit, I think heats the water in the reservoir when you select clean... Takes about 5 seconds. I think this was a good intro unit. Installation was a breeze - thanks to youtube videos. Of course make sure it fits your bowl first. After installation, when pushed sideways at the front - there's a give of about half an inch. The brackets are tight - it's just the latches that connect the bidet to the bracket have loose tolerances. Experience. It's comfortable..though the bidet takes a little bit more of the bowl space and there's a slight down angle. The dry function at the end doesn't seem to be aiming at the optimal area and could be warmer... Not very effective. Overall happy with it - good first bidet.

Toto C5 Washlet Bidet
I had family members encouraging me to try bidets, so after years of ignoring their suggestions, I finally relented and bought one. I had never tried a bidet before, but I was pretty sure that I didn't want a basic one without bells and whistles, so I settled on the Toto C5. Installation was incredibly simple, with everything needed included in the kit. The biggest issue was getting an outlet close enough to plug in the bidet, which was ultimately also a relatively simple solution by snaking an extension cord under the vanity. I chose the C5 with its hand-held remote over the C2 which has a control panel affixed to the right side of the bidet. Good choice, as it seems to be much easier to access the functions without having to twist to find the right buttons to push on the C2 panel. The features of the bidet are functional and thoughtful. The features are well described in the product information, so no point in repeating them here, other than to say that they all function as described. Since I had never used a basic cold water, non electric bidet, I can't compare the C5 against anything else, other to say that I can't imagine using anything less than the one that I purchased. The heated seat, warm water, and warm air drying are amazing, and the deodorizing & self cleaning appear to work well. If you prefer to not have heated seat and water available 24X7, it also has an Auto Energy Saving mode, which detects periods of infrequent use. This also seems to work well in my first few weeks of use. The warm water reservoir provides heated water for about 60 seconds, then gradually gets cooler. For me, this is sufficient, as it heats up again fairly quickly if needed. The more expensive K300 model provides unlimited hot water if that is a requirement. The Toto C5 has made me a convert to bidets, and I really have no desire to use a standard toilet seat again unless there is no choice.

You will wish investing more for longer warm water tanks but it's just being picky and greedy. Wonderful buy

I'm dealing with an elderly dementia patient and this product make the process so much easier. It's not perfect, but it eliminates a lot of the manual effort and mess. The installation was relatively painless and it all went well the first time, but the centering instructions could be better. The quality of the product is a little cheap for the price; I can see the cheap plastic breaking over time. The outer seat does not appear to open as wide as it should, I can see a heavy person leaning back against this and breaking it. The lid seems to line up with the hinge, so I assume it's installed properly. The remote is well thought out and well made, although I'd like to see an auto routine that runs through a series of preprogrammed steps. Better still a phone app with a camera built into the washing tube, so you can see what you're doing. Ideally, a phone app with AI built in, so Skynet can do a proper job of cleaning your business. I'm only partially kidding about this, just think of the money you could make off the Geeks. Overall I'm happy with the design and build quality of the unit, and remote, other than the chinsy outer cover. In my case, it also covers a real need, and I might enjoy a heat Tushy as well.
