Q: Could someone tell me why one cord to an earphone is so much longer than the other? Thanks!

The cords longer so one can go around your neck. The long one should be the right headphone, so you move it from your left side, around your neck, to the right side, then you can put it on. It's like that so it wont get in your way I think.

Q: Has anyone used these while running? Do they fall off?

You'll be fine running with them. I haven't had a problem with them yet. Really can't recommend these enough.

Q: how is the sound quality?

It's great even at full volume on my pc, but remember that it is not as loud as normal headphone (which I love by the way ^.^ )
