I really like how it works with my AC & ceiling fan to cool down my family room. It fits right in front of the AC vent and really moves the air. I can feel the breeze when I am almost opposite of it, so I know that it is really circulating the air. It is quiet and the retro design is very nice and a big reason why I bought it. It is sturdy and well made. Vornado seems to stand by their products and I had an older one that they replaced under warranty with no problem. I bought the white one and the color will go with decor in more than one room, although it is pretty heavy to move up and down stairs. More colors would be nice, but I am very happy with the white one. I may have to purchase another one for my bedroom! I have had this for a month or two because I didn't want to wait around and was afraid it might become out of stock. Now that we are in a heatwave I am so happy that I have it.

So obviously it's a beautiful vintage-inspired design, and well-made with mostly metal parts. I have another fan in this series in my bedroom, and love how well it circulates air in the room so quietly, and figured why not spring for the larger floor size when I was looking for a good larger fan for our living room. While it does not oscillate, and has no remote control like most other floor fan models available, I don't find that a detractor. On the lowest setting, you don't even notice it's on, but it keeps the air circulating well, and helps make our indoor air feel more buoyant and fresh. At the highest setting, the fan is still fairly quiet and really gets the air churning. I grow many, MANY indoor plants, so I particularly love how this helps keep the air movement around them strong to help prevent mildew and fungal infections. Additionally, it helps to distribute the air humidity evenly throughout my space, which left to its own devices, becomes very high in certain spots, encouraging mold and mildew, and very low in others, which makes it harder to keep some plants happy. We basically keep it on all the time from spring to fall, and then run it most of the time over the winter as well. On the highest setting on hot days, this fan is usually the first destination for visiting friends, who all know the pleasure of standing in front of it and enjoying a quick cool-down. Unlike traditionally designed fans, this one has a nice air flow that is both strong but also gentle and doesn't give the feeling of standing in a wind tunnel when you're right in front of it. I highly recommend this fan, and get compliments and inquiries about where to find it for sale all the time.

I was nervous to buy as it’s kinda pricey. I like the style and color and kept coming back to hem and haw. I live in a loft without AC. My hope with the air circulator was to get the warm air moving upstairs. The fan is not facing towards me and yet I can feel a coolness moving around me as if it is. I think this is the circulator doing it’s thing. It’s came minimally but well packaged with the sturdy shaped cardboard that’s easy to recycle. It was very easy to put together. I really like the aesthetic and the shade of blue green works with my home. I don’t like the sounds of fans and am often bothered by overhead kitchen and bathroom fans. I don’t find this van overly loud or in a high or weird pitch. The fan is very sturdy and well made. I am happy with it and think it should last me for years.

We absolutely adore our fan. It's sleek, retro design takes us right back to when things were made with steel and heavy as hell. The top is like an anchor, and the base is sturdy so together they create a great and mighty wind. The airflow has three different levels you can barely hear the first, we sleep with the second on, and the third kind of makes me giggle because it sounds like you just jumped into a wind storm. This fan has perfect white noise, keeps great air circulating in the room, and will absolutely be appreciated on a hot sunny day this coming summer. Recommended!

This is a statement within the room as well as a fantastic fan. I bought one, became enamored and bought another — one in white and the other in green. Vornado makes superior fans. I’ve had a Vornado fan on my outside balcony for years in the weather and it works and looks like new. The New York Times rates Vornado as the best fan — that has been proven without a doubt in my multiyear experience.

We just got our fan and put it together last night. It assembled perfectly. Once we laid it out on the ground, honestly didn’t need the instructions. It was pretty straightforward. We bought the full-size, with the pedestal, in white. This fan is substantial and heavy. Seems to be made mostly of metal. We bought it more for looks and as a decorative piece, but it moves air fairly well—3 speed choices. We have one small Vornado fan that is at least 5 years old and still runs like new, so I am assuming this one will hold up. Standing back and looking at our living room, the fan makes the room look BETTER. It is so cute and is a very classy, interesting decorative piece! We just redecorated the room, and it fits very well with our other decorations, furniture, etc., in the room. Love it, and it seems to be well worth the price so far!

It’s on the quiet side, and moves a lot of air. If it breaks, it’ll be easy to repair, because it’s well designed and made with quality materials. You can spend half as much and get the same airflow. Or the same aesthetics. But not both. And nothing at half the cost is going to be as sturdy and well built as this. So is it worth it? Probably, because it’s a good fan with good aesthetics made of mostly metal (not the blades though). I have other fans that work just as well, but they’re not as quiet. If you want a pedestal fan that doesn’t make a room look trashy, this is it.

This is my third review. This is a powerful fan, well designed and acceptable sound. My fan started to make a terrible noise after almost 2 years and I received a new fan in less than 48 hours as a replacement. If it works fine, this is a great fan even in compare to dyson fans.

En general los ventiladores nunca an sobresalido por su belleza, normalmente son dispositivos feos. Este ventilador puede estar en la sala en las areas publicas de las casas sin desmerecer con el resto de la decoración. Ya tenia muy buena experiencia con un par de Vornados 723DC que los tengo permanentemente prendidos. El VFAN es por mucho el ventilador de piso mas bonito de Vornado, es de mental, bien hecho, cumple su función de circular el aire y como mencione arriba, es excelente para-areas públicas de la casa. Para las habitaciones donde se busca tener el mínimo de ruido, es mejor un ventilador con motor DC. En Vornado son los "energy smart". Dicho lo anterior, son menos ruidosos que un Minisplit. El ventilador lo tengo encendido y en las noches muy calurosas enciendo el Minisplit. Otra ventaja es que estos ventiladores no se apagan. Tengo un par de ventiladores Pelonis con motor DC, que uso en un patio interior y hay que estar prendiendo cada 12 horas. En conclusion es un excelente producto y solo podría ser mejor si también lo ofrecieran en "energy smart", es decir con motor DC.

I really love the retro feel and the sturdy construction of this space fan. I live in a small apartment that gets in a lot of sunlight and my space definitely needs a good fan, which I found with Vornado. The sturdy metal adds to the charm of the Vornado designs. This is the third Tornado product I've purchased and now very loyal to the brand. MADE TO LAST
