Tongue pads worked well with my loafers. The heel pads was too uncomfortable for me, though.

Got these for a pair of boots that was loose at the top. They are comfortable and good quality.

Tougher than felt pads though they are much easier to replace. Never need to worry about your pads being compressed or needing to replace with these ones but be careful. Once they are on, good luck trying to take them out so plan carefully
