Bolt-ease of installation
Bolted this on and it worked as good or better than new. Even if you’re not super handy this is not a tough project. Saved my perfectly good pressure washer!

pressure washer replacement pump for Generac pressure washer
The pump looks great and appears to be very high quality which was a big positive..Now for the negatives... needed a shaft key and none came with the pump... the pump bolted right up but was to close to the motor so end play was not enough on crank shaft, had to remove the pump again and change mounting studs to bolts and washers to shim pump away from the motor.Pressure washer is now running great and there is plenty of pressure for any cleaning job.. Will need to see how long it lasts...

Does not attach to standard garden hose
The female connector on pressure washers are supposed to be GHT (garden hose thread) so you can simply attach the male GHT garden hose to the pump. This pump came with NPT (national pipe taper) threading which is NOT compatible with a garden hose. NPT is used for plumbing and hardline pipe connections. Was this a fluke? Nope- the same thing on the first one which I returned thinking it was a fluke. Apparently the manufacturer got the wrong batch of connectors. Also they are pressed fitted so you cannot simple remove it and replace it with something from a plumbing repair house or big box store.There are NPT to GHT adapters but they are solid brass and difficult for garden hose to screw in and they reduce the interior pipe diameter restricting the water flow. Really poor quality control.
