Walk Wit' Me...: All Ova Guyana

This book was for my family member who is from Guyana. The detail an accuracy is spot on and its bringing back so many wonderful memories for her of the culture, the life and so many details that only someone who knew the culture could have captured. This is a great achievement as a book to document such a unique place, and a great gift for anyone from Guyana...or anyone curious about what life was like. thank you!

I was born in Guyana,so this book was excellent reading,and brought back a lot of memories

I lived in Georgetown until 1973 when I left at age 18. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I have relatives in the Pomeroon area and we lived in Albertown. I especially enjoyed the description of all the "mad men." They were mentally unstable, however they were almost our extended family as they were always around. This book brought back many memories and reminded that I lived in a Paradise that is lost. I highly recommend this book.

This book succintly covers the Guyanese culture and I recommend it to all my friends and family who have lived in Guyana. I am very nostalgic after reading this book and I will lend it to one of my friends
