Glamourmom Womens' Starter Nursing Bra

Before you read this please note that my breasts are not big (I am size 34 c now) and I breastfeed full time. I breastfeed my baby everywhere and all the time so I was looking for a bra that would be easy to open/close particularly in public. To me this was a perfect fit. In addition, it is very comfortable to wear even when sleeping. Another thing that I liked about this bra was its price, which compare to other brands was relatively cheap. I gave it a 4 star just because it does not really look that nice, but I guess it is a nursing bra. Oh well.

This bra makes an excellent sleep bra for those who are F/G size cup. It's super comfortable, however, it really doesn't provide the support needed to make sure larger breasts aren't sagging down. On the plus side, it's 90% cotton, which is breathable and important when it comes to breastfeeding mommas. If it had the support I needed in an F/G cup, I'd give it 5 stars, but it earned 3 because it provides some support.

I love the fit of this bra, however the construction leaves a lot to be desired. Within 2 weeks of starting to wear the bra, the lower bra band elastic began to unravel. Not long after this, the shoulder strap on the right began to snag and unravel. Again, I love the fit of the bra--I just wish it were made of more durable materials.

After all of the glowing reviews I had high hopes for this bra but sent it back right away. It may work for some, especially for those who want a lot of support and don't mind wearing a body armor type garment. I did feel like I had some chest plate on after putting it on ... I wanted a bra that would be more supportive than Japanese Weekend which I love for comfort and looks but it has almost no support, that I can drop down easily for nursing, and that would be soft and comfortable next to the skin. The bras delivered on none of these counts for me. It felt scratchy and synthetic, not at all comfortable nor well fitting in the cup, and tryign to drop it down felt like folding cardboard. So I sent it back. The company promptly refunded my purchase so no complaints there. I ended up buying Target brad bras which are super for half the price of this thing - very comfortable, soft on the skin, supportive enough, and easy to open/close and fold down. I bought this bra at the end of my pregnancy when all of my regular bras were uncomfortable and it didn't make sense to purchase anything other than nursing bras since that's what I'll be wearing once the baby is here. I LOVE this bra -- super comfortable, and it also helps avoid showing too much cleavage under dresses or shirts now that I've expanded in that area. Under shirts and dresses, it just looks like the top of a cami. I'm looking forward to purchasing at least one of these in another color soon!For size reference, I am currently at a 34DD (during pregnancy), and the medium size fits perfectly.

I just received this last week. My baby isn't here yet, but I'm getting ready. :) So, I haven't actually used it for nursing yet, but so far, I really like it. The bra fits well. I ordered a size Large. I was a 36B before pregnancy, but now I'm more like a 38D. It also is easy to unhook and seems like it will be functional for breast feeding. Also, for a non-underwire, it is very stable and supportive (which I was concerned about). It's expensive, but I think it will be worth it!

Based on the reviews of this bra, I had high expectations, but it was not as soft or as supportive as the starter bras I picked up from Destination Maternity. Also, the straps were really thick - not sure why since this is only a medium support bra.

Wore while pregnant, so who knows. Liked the comfort and coverage but if your a larger breast size it still gives you the UNO boob. Good for breast feeding access though. Has a touch of padding which helps with the nipple issue.
