As soon as I opened the box and unrolled the ratchet end, the bolt and nut that are supposed to secure the looped nylon end to the ratchet clanked onto the ground. "No problem" I thought,"I'll just put the bolt back through the loop and into the ratchet and tighten the nut up." Well, the bolt and or nut (looks like a cheap version of a nylock-type) are either stripped and/or cross-threaded because they will not tighten back down. By simply hand tightening, I can "over-tighten" and cause the nut to lose tension on what I believe is a defect in the threads.

Saw some youtube videos and got interested in slacklining. We ended getting this set because of price and have been really pleased with our purchase. It was really difficult to stay start, so we tried put up a rope above the slackline to help support, but that only made us dependent on the support line. I really suggest getting on, learning to stand, then make ONE step, then practice TWO steps, and then move up from there without any help. It was extremely easy to put up. Our two trees were about 30 feet apart, so lots of line left over but that was plenty long since walking 10 feet was hard enough. Great fun for the family. Kids and neighbors have used it constantly and adult siblings came over and had a blast. 5 stars for great product, great fun and great skill to learn.

Purchased the basic package and am super happy with it. The tree wraps aren't huge but are decent enough that you would only need to augment with a bit more towel or pad. Setup was super easy and having the logo on only one side of the webbing made it easier to tell if If the line was straight or twisted. Smooth action on the ratchet and easy for setting up or breaking down. Set it up easily in a park one day and taking it camping this weekend.

I'm in love with the price and product however I was tightening the ratchet and the safety pin along with several other pieces broke, they went flying and could have hit my face. I realize I might have been the one at fault but it's important to tell people that when tightening don't tighten too much, it can be dangerous.
