Pretty good shoe, not perfect for those with wide feet (Why no wide Volleyball models)
My perfect size is about a 10-10.5W in US sizes. I normally go up a half size in shoes when I can't get a wide. I had already done this with a pair of Asics running shoes and this pair fits almost exactly the same, perfect width but definitely too long. I expect it will be just fine for racquetball which is why I purchased it.They feel very comfortable though and I am happy with the purchase. I am docking 1 star due to the fact that Asics does not make a wide version of any volleyball shoe as they do in many of their running shoes. Since they no longer sell anything for badminton, racquetball, squash etc, you would think they could at least come out with one model of volleyball shoe in a wide?******************This part is about fulfillment and not the shoe itself - You may have this issue or may not*********************I would also like to report what I consider to be a major problem. I bought this shoe and it said it was sold by Amazon.com LLC and said that it qualified for prime shipping. This product obviously was not direct from Amazon as it was shipped Fed Ex instead of UPS.Product was expected on Monday and did not show up. No door tag.Tuesday I received a fed ex door tag saying that they had tried final delivery and I would have to pick up the package. (typically only happens after 3rd delivery).I don't really know who this issue is with. Was it a lazy fed ex delivery person who probably never showed up until Tuesday and didn't feel like coming back? Was it the fact that it was most likely fulfilled by a 3rd party who is supposed to use UPS but is cutting rates by using Fed Ex? Was it Amazon for misrepresenting who was selling me the product and guaranteeing 2 day delivery via UPS (which will be left at the door) and not informing me that it was coming Fed Ex? Not sure. I did not include this part of the order experience in my rating but am very dissatisfied with how this was fulfilled.

Excellent one for the price !!
Background : I play competitive badminton(mostly singles) which involves lot of court coverage with speed and accuracy. I had used pricey Yonex shoes all along until my last shoe which inexplicably managed to get a tear along the little-toe line. That was a $140 shoe in it 8th month of use. I couldn't convince myself to spend another $140/- for brand new pair of Yonex shoes and thought of finding something else cheaper.About this shoe :Fit right(Yonex ones run half size smaller) and little to no lateral movement in the toe-box(Lateral movement of toe in my view has resulted in lot of heat as well blisters or twists in my experience). So far, I have tried these shoes on the hardwood and synthetic floors, and they grip just sufficiently(more grip = knee + ankle joint pain, less grip = slipping all over the court).Priced perfect for me :-). I don't think I'll go back to Yonex ones unless I find them gift-wrapped at my door-step.One bit that I still need to try on is how the gum-rubber sole wears off. The sole must retain most of it's grip at all levels of wear and tear. I'll update this review in about 3 months time.

Shoes seem pretty sturdy. Using for racquetball.
These shoes are actually for volleyball, but good racquetball/squash shoes are getting harder and harder to find online. I've been playing in them for about two weeks now and they seem to work OK. The grip on the floor isn't quite as good as a full gum sole, but it is pretty good. They do seem to be well made and tough. I'll update this review after a month or two of use.One month review: Still in great shape. I'd say these are keepers. I'll get them again when this pair wears out.Three month review: Still in great shape!Six month review: Well, sadly they finally bit the dust. Side ripped out near the sole. I'm ordering a new pair. I think it's fair to say that I got more than my monies worth on these. Six months of racquetball three to four times per week is a real beating on any shoe.

Great Volleyball Shoe!
I purposely waited until I had played in these shoes ten times before reviewing them. They still have their grip - and I've played in three different gyms. These shoes strike a right balance with giving your feet good lateral support and floor grip with just enough cushioning - not too much like a running shoe. I've had Asics volleyball shoes before. They were good but I wore them for non-volleyball use and a year later the grip on the floor wasn't as good. Therefore, I plan to use these shoes exclusively for volleyball. As far as sizing goes I took the advice of others and went a half size up. It was the right call for me. Hint: try on some athletic shoes at a shoe store to see if your usual athletic shoe size fits. I used to wear 10.5 athletic shoes just a few years ago. (I was at my full height then too). Now the running shoes I have (Nike) and these shoes (Asics)are both 11. My dress shoes are still 10.5. An industry-wide realignment of shoe sizes? I don't know.

Good support and comfort for indoor table tennis
I needed a dedicated pair for indoor table tennis. I was originally a college level tennis player but am getting older so needed a sport to keep my reflexes and stamina up. To this end, I joined a serious club in Chicago with open minded and welcoming players. I feel I am improving dramatically with the help of the competition and these shoes provide lightweight support (I don't need to insert my orthotics - your mileage may vary) as well as gel comfort. Very true to fit. The club meets in a basketball gym with wood floors. I don't feel these shoes slide more than normal indoor court shoes with sufficient grip. For the price, these are a good entry level indoor shoe. They are flat enough for racket sports and feel well made. Personally I would probably choose a higher heeled shoe for basketball and volleyball but I don't play those sports anymore. Very happy with the purchase and fast shipping from Amazon.

Sehr gute Wahl!!
Ich habe mir den Schuh zum Badminton spielen gekauft und bin begeistert. Der Schuh ist leicht, hat sehr viel gripp und eine gute Belüftung. Dazu sieht er noch gut aus, was will man mehr!!
