Bev Rite CR13 Metal Gauge Guard-Fits Taprite, Cornelius, Norgren Regulators, Black

The only bolt even CLOSE to the correct size is NOT. Looks like they shipped a metric bolt where Taprite uses SAE/standard threads. Common size bolt is needed (5/16-18). Means I need to make a trip to the local True Value to get a bolt in order to use this cage with a brand new Taprite regulator (nitrogen). Also confirmed that the included bolt doesn't work with one of my other CO2 regulators.Either include another Standard/SAE bolt that WILL work with Taprite or make it very clear that you'll have to go out and buy one BEFORE people order this.

I have several of these for my C02 tank regulators. They really work and protect the gauges if the tank tips over. Gotta have one of these as it is inevitable that the tank will tip by accident or get knocked over, and then your gauges are ruined. Great peace of mind with this installed.

I LIKE IT for my Tap Right regulator. BUT the provided bolts don't fit the 5/16 x 18 thread hole.Pick up a 1/2" long bolt and you're in good shape. I prefer it to the bent steel rod regulator protector.

There were several screws for different applications. The screw to mount to Taprite regulator is wrong thread. Gauge fronts are not fully protected.

The hole used to bolt it to the Taprite diaphragm housing was slightly misaligned. Also, there were Manufacturing blemishes. Meaning there was a stray piece of metal that was dried onto the paint. I had to grind it off. So, the quality control is not so good. That being said, it will function for its intended purpose.
