They're small
The cotton balls are OK but smaller than I'd expected them to be.

the down side.
People said these were large in size. I have to use about 6 just to apply toner at night. Not consistent in sz. Range from small to medium. You get a lot for the money, so I guess that is the down side.

Ridiculously small
I would not buy these again. They are the smallest cotton balls I have ever seen. You can not cover the mouth of most bottles (ie nail polish remover, alcohol, face toner, etc) to get an adequate amount on the ball - it will fall inside the bottle. Some of these are the thickness of my little finger - I'm an average size person. I have taken to doubling them up - but even then, they are pitiful.

Beware. If you’re looking for large Colton balls, these are not those. I guess I should have closely. They’re about the size of a marble. Read more

Small small SMALL
These “medium” cotton balls are tiny. In the photos I have provided, you will see their “medium” cotton balls compared to a normal medium cotton ball and a quarter. These are definitely not medium sized and now I have over 1000 of them. :(

They work for me!
I like their small size - I've had a hard time finding cotton balls that weren't too big. I use them to apply hydrogen peroxide, witch hazel, and various other ointments to scrapes, cuts, rashes, etc., the larger cotton balls waste too much of the ointments, spreading them over a wider area, requiring more cleanup time and materials. They are not all cut to the same size, but that doesn't bother me, every now and then I want a larger one without having to buy a whole giant package of them.

Glad They Aren’t Fragile!
These balls are on the small side, but meet my need completely. I’m soaking them with peppermint oil and putting them behind my shutters to keep wasps away. As you can see from the photo UPS Ground didn’t treat my package well. The box was crushed on the side it says FRAGILE! Not a big deal since it wasn’t torn open. Maybe they should use USPS vs UPS Ground?
