I was worried reading the other reviews about receiving a crystal that was cracked or damaged in some way. I was also worried that they would be more opaque than clear by the way the base photo looks. They are indeed very clear and quite reflective. My only issue is that the string came very messily tied and it was close to the base, so i had to untie and retie it. Other than that, I have no problems. I would say that its a gamble, seeing as a lot of people got their items damaged. I am fortunate that mine were not.

Based on so many previous 5 star reviews I ordered 2 sets - total of 4 crystals - intending to give them as gifts, but sadly all four crystals I received are much too flawed. One has the top point broken off, two have the string hole bored at an angle which makes the crystal hang crooked, and the fourth is both chipped and hangs crooked. It’s very disappointing that not even one of these four crystals is suitable to give as a gift, and I'm guessing that such flaws are not acceptable in Feng Shui cures either. I gave 1 star because they arrived promptly and the rainbows are beautiful. They lost 4 stars because the product description does not state that the crystals are seconds, and that all items are flawed in one way or another. BOTTOM LINE: If you are buying these for personal use simply as rainbow-makers, the crystals are large, inexpensive and do cast lovely rainbows in spite of the flaws. If you are buying them to give as gifts or otherwise need flawless crystals, I suggest you look elsewhere.

I bought 5 pairs of these 50 mm crystal balls. They are good quality except for what other reviewers mentioned about the drilled holes were a little rough. The red strings are thin so I replaced them with 1.5 mm red string which I cut to 27 cm ( multiple of 9 for good feng shui). They serve their purpose well with light refractions created by these multifaceted crystal balls. Also reasonably priced compared to other merchants.

Just what I wanted. Need to fix some feng shui energy and these are perfect. They even come with the red string needed. Slightly larger than I expected (pic for reference), but that is no problem at all. Not expensive. If you don't need them for feng shui reasons, they are perfect for hanging in the window and making rainbows! :)

They are larger than I thought but are SO VERY BEAUTIFUL! Well worth the cost. The sun shows through it and fills my room with rainbows! Be careful on the sizes though, I should have gotten the smaller one. this one is very big but very nice too!
