4 sets will do it- you can play with the pieces and set the distance between them

You use glue dots to attach them to the wall. So, maybe if you use new glue dots to put them up elsewhere? I have already forgotten about this product, because the mirrored pieces didn’t stay stuck to the wall. A bunch of them kept falling down, so I got sick of reattaching them, and just removed them all. Maybe if you have really smooth walls it will work better for you. My walls have a bit of a texture.

Q: Can these mirror stick to fabric?

I stuck mine to wood so I cannot speak on it. I imagine you could, just not with the adhesive they come with, you will need something additional.
