I've had an American flag on the front of my garage for a long time, and I've constantly had to go out with a piece of PVC pipe to "un-wrap" it from the mast anytime the wind blows. The rings that came with the pole were plastic and kept binding. I tried aluminum rings-same issue. Then I found these. The bearings did the trick. Even with a slight breeze, the rings swivel, and my flag flies unencumbered. GREAT PRODUCT. Thank you, Retired USAF, CMSGT.

They may cost a little more but the quality on these is amazing! It's been super windy here but these have manage to keep the flag hanging straight since I installed them.. They come in a nice box with w extra screws, the allen wrench to install them. The loops to attach the flag are also metal! It takes a lot to impress me but this company paid attention to ALL the details....

It seems that this product is working as specified. I have seen the flag wrapped around the pole once on a windy day, but shortly thereafter, it was hanging properly from the pole. I do expect this to happen occasionally, but do expect it to eventually get back to the proper position as it did this time.

In a very windy area. Even my spinner poles became wrapped up sometimes. Used these with the spinner poles, absolutely no issues.

Best flagpole ring set there is. No more wrapping up around pole and constant straightening of flag.

There are so many of these to choose from. Theses ones have been great. I think I got lucky and chose one of the good ones.

Like most of the others that ordered this, I too was tired of unwrapping my flag from the pole. I'm retired military and like to fly my flag everyday, so I was constantly having to twist the pole to unwrap the flag many times everyday. This item was very easy to install, is great quality, and I no longer have to unwrap my flag. The flag just easily rotates through wind, rain, snow or whatever without wrapping on the pole.

Exactly what your flag pole needs, it would be nice if they came in different sizes, I have a 2nd pole with a diameter of 1.35" and would like to have these installed, however very few options for bigger poles.

For mounting my Canadian flag to the flagpole

After having this wild idea of attaching a flagpole to my property, I was disappointed to say the least. My son was constantly outside unravelling it from the guttering. So, we moved it hoping that would resolve the issue. It didn’t. So what started off as something for me to have & enjoy was becoming a chore. These replacement fittings have brought my smile back. After reading all the reviews I reluctantly spent more of my pension money on my new hobby BUT without regret. Currently I have a Halloween flag up, hopefully the next will be for Bonfire Night (I’m in the UK) then Remembrance Sunday for all those lost but not forgotten.

Flag is never tangled anyone

This worked great to fix an old fibreglass flag pole that would have been trash...if you have a pole that is smaller than the inner diameter of this unit its easy to fix with a PVC split sleeve you can make yourself.The only thing I would suggest is put locktite on the threaded ring retainer...I had one come loose from the constant moving in wind, but it was quickly fixed with locktite and no issues since.
