Saramonic "LavMic" Premium Lavalier Microphone with 2-Channel Audio Mixer and Outputs for iPhone/Android Smartphones, GoPro, DSLR Cameras, Camcorders and Portable Recorders

Using wireless lavalier with Lavmic:Sennheiser or JK Mic-J 017 microphones are mentioned for wireless transmitters. The locking 3.5mm stereo jack will unfortunately not work (without) an stereo to mono female 3.5mm jack adapter. The top of the LavMic is MIC left, the second 3.5 mm jack on the LavMic is the right mic. I removed the locking screw from the JK unidirectional lavalier because it fit better.It is strange that wireless Lavaliers are different wired. So to understand clearly, the mics will work with Male 3.5mm stereo - 3.5mm Female jack adapters.Specially attention: wireless systems are shielded, the JK mic works great but used with the Saramonic LavMic is it possible to receive static electric interferences. That has to do mostly when using power sources from the house. When using an external power supply it will normally avoid electric static interferences.I use into the LavMic lithium battery in place of NiMH batteries. On this way is there more security because lithium works full power to the end.The JK Mic-J 017 unidirectional Lavaliers works great with the Saramonic LavMic.Luc Rik

I was disappointed because I connected my desktop PC headphones to the device (just the microphone) and it didn't work. I tried with 2 different headphones with no luck. In the other hand, when I use the Lavalier microphone that comes in the package it works fine. My other two headphones work well with both, my PC and my smartphone. If you let me know about any solution for this I will be more than happy. Thanks!

WOW! Not only does it work better than advertised but I received my item in two days! I got it before my other amazon prime products that were two day shipping and this package came from LA to Savannah, GA P.S. The lapel mic works very well. Better than my other high quality Lapel mic.

Sound quality coming through was undesirable. I wouldn't recommend.

Disclaimer: I received this product at a discountI was looking for a new microphone to go with my new DSLR Camera and wanted to pick up one of quality. I was not disappointed with the overall quality of this microphone.The microphone itself clips onto clothing with sharp teeth that prevent it from moving around. The transmission range is actually quite good for the microphone too and it really picks up my voice clearly. At first when I turned it on and attempted to use it, it was picking up quite a bit of background noise. I found that if I leveled off the volume and got away from any air conditioning ducts the background noise was gone and I was given a crystal clear audio recording.I have been told that the recording accurately matches my voice (which is hard to tell myself since no one's voice ever sounds the same to them in their head) which is how I know that the microphone is high quality.Speaking of quality, I was surprised at how sturdy the jacks were. I was expecting a normal jack, however the jacks come with a knurled fastener which threads onto the hub. The hub also contains two mic out ports for left and right channel which is great for interviewing and playback in stereo, as well as a headphone out port to listen directly to your voice and set the volume. There are indicator lights on the hub that alert you when the device is on so you don't drain your battery. I haven't tested the battery life but it hasn't quit on me yet and I've been testing with it for about a week. In the package comes three separate attachments for recording from a Cell Phone (Worked on my Samsung S6 Edge), a mini-usb Go Pro type camera, and a DSLR Camera. The extra plugs really come in handy if you want to switch devices on the fly for extra footage. The wire to the Go-Pro's, DSLR Cameras, or Phone is relatively short, but the wire from the hub to the microphone is just under 8 feet long which is enough to run from the camera, under a table and onto me with room to spare.
