M. Graham 1/2-Ounce Tube Gouache Paint, Yellow Ochre

This is one of the best watercolour painting brand. Wonderful pigmented, smooth , bright colour. As it is honey based texture is so smooth and colour comes out so bright on paper. I have used many other best brands but this one is beyond them all. Bit pricey but worth the price. I am so happy with the product .

Perfect for Zorn palette, very smooth pigment, very controllable.

I have ordered paint (gouache, acrylic, watercolor) from various companies. M. Graham is my favorite. It is very, very good quality, and affordable.

All right, so I bought a small set of M. Graham paints and a whole lot of single tubes also. The paints are beautiful, very pigmented and flow very nicely, but...apparently one of the biggest selling points to these paints is that they don't try out and you don't have to pre-wet them before using them. I find this to be a big negative, because I like my paints to be in a convenient travel palette and are ready to use. I have tried to do different versions of this with these paints and it just is a mess. These paints are great, the color is great, the flow is great, but unless you want to take all the tubes with you, they are best left at home.

Nice consistency and a pure yellow ochre pigment. There is not a lot more to say about a good gouache
